Reports to: Cultivation Regional Supply Chain Manager

Location: Quincy, FL


Position Summary:

We are searching for a talented Cultivation Post Harvest Planning Manager to assist in organizing and setting weekly and monthly production schedules for post-harvest activities. This position will be key to realizing long term inventory goals and will regularly work with other departments to align and ensure the plan is realistic, optimal, and executed correctly. To succeed in this role, you should be professional, analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. The successful candidate should also have an in-depth knowledge of cultivation processes, cannabis cultivation and post-harvest cannabis experience specifically is preferred.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of Cultivation Post Harvest Planning team.
  • Maintenance, management, and direct oversight of post-harvest planning schema for Gadson, Jefferson, and Madison Counties.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the Processing Team to meet business demands for processing post-harvest cannabis.
  • In conjunction with Plant Health set and perform evaluations of standard requirements for post-harvest cannabis to be in correct processing streams with accurate nomenclature.
  • Work with the Cultivation Planning Manager for the planning of harvesting of flower rooms and correlation to post-harvest activities.
  • Perform variance analysis to report on trends of inefficiency and advise profitable solutions.
  • Maintain shared projections and forecasts on a weekly basis.
  • Oversee the generation and subsequent distribution of weekly post-harvest planning schedules instructing personnel on required operations to maintain the effectiveness of the cultivation post-harvest production pipeline.
  • Regularly report post-harvest KPIs and dashboard data on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare and distribute key manufacturing reports within the business at routine intervals.
  • Create new tools and strategies for the management of post-harvest inventories.
  • Present to business leaders within the organization both granular and executive level post harvesting planning and the management of post-harvest inventory through reports and presentations.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Experience in manufacturing scheduling is preferred
  • Experience in cannabis business is preferred
  • Capability to lead indirectly different departments on the released plan
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • Cultivation Post-Harvest Planners report directly to the Cultivation Post-Harvest Planning Manager.

Work Schedule

  • 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening, FL Dept. of Health approval
