House of Dank is currently seeking Loss Prevention Specialists to oversee all retail locations.

The Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for minimizing the loss of merchandise, money, and company assets. They will monitor cameras at all locations, notate and investigate suspicious activity, report any theft or mistreatment of company property to management, and potentially create and implement loss prevention measures at retail stores.

This position will be based out of our corporate office in Madison Heights, MI.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Main responsibility will be to monitor all security cameras very closely inside all
  • locations for suspicious activity, theft, or misuse of company property
  • Communicate with Corporate Management as well as Retail Management regarding theft or misconduct
  • Advise management teams on more effective loss prevention techniques
  • Potentially create and implement loss prevention procedures
  • Potentially research, assess, and supervise the installation of different security measures in retail locations
  • Conduct and/or assist in investigations regarding shopper or associate concerns
  • Complete any reports, forms, or requested documentation as needed

Qualifying Skills:

  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Knowledge of loss prevention procedures and techniques
  • Effective communication and record keeping skills
  • Knowledge of DW Spectrum Monitoring system a plus
  • Cannabis knowledge/previous experience is a plus

Requirements:

  • Previous loss prevention experience
  • Ability to visually monitor cameras for up to 8 hours per day
  • High School diploma or GED

Potential shifts available:

  • Mon-Friday 5pm-10pm (25hrs/week)
  • Sat and Sun 9am-10pm (26hrs/week)

Compensation: $16-18/hr based on experience
