Part Time Retail Associate

This is a part time position. The schedule would be 8-10 hours shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Position Summary

The Retail Associate is the first point of contact for our patrons and serves as our primary brand ambassador. This person is responsible for providing the highest level of friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate customer service to our patrons.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Uses expertise to educate customers on product selection and purchase procedures; answers questions; positively represents the company

• Maintains a calm and helpful demeanor during high-volume times to ensure customer satisfaction

• Demonstrates compassion and sensitivity when assisting patrons in order to accommodate their unique needs and preferences

• Addresses customer concerns and/or complaints using prescribed operation procedures

• Maintains privacy and confidentiality of customer information

• Supports other members of the team

• Follows daily operation procedures in compliance with company policy and CCC regulations

• Utilizes computerized point of sale system to complete transactions

Qualifications & Experience

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• High school diploma or GED required

• Previous retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred

• Basic computer skills required; POS software and cash management experience preferred

• Basic math skills including adding and subtraction required

• Ability to resolve issues with a professional manner

• Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including some weekend and holiday work

• Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude; strong work ethic

• High attention to detail and discretion when handling monetary transactions and sensitive patient information

• Open for all holidays except Christmas - must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and events

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs

• Ability to stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist

Workplace Environment

• Busy retail environment with moderate noise level

• Indoor environment; some exposure to seasonal temperature changes

• Loud at times, music, conversations and radio communication constantly

• High volume work during peak hours, events and holidays

The Manufacturing Associates are responsible for the efficient manufacturing of cannabis products according to established procedures, protocols and workplace policies.</p><p><b>Roles and</b><b>Responsibilities</b><b>: </b></p><p>· Harvesting and processing of cannabis</p><p>· Operation of automated and manual processing equipment</p><p>· Quick and efficient manual trimming of cannabis</p><p>· Transporting cannabis between production environments in a sanitary fashion</p><p>· Accurately document all work performed as directed in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)</p><p>· Participate in the post-harvest sanitation; including appropriate disposal of plant materials and routine cleaning and sterilization of equipment</p><p>· Milling cannabis and creating pre-rolls</p><p>· Packaging and labelling bulk cannabis and final products</p><p>· Record keeping and data collection</p><p>· Work with the cleaning crew to clean all areas of the facility </p><p>· Operate in a safe and compliant manner and adhering to Company policies and procedures</p><p>· Other duties as assigned</p><p><b>Qualifications and Expectations</b>:</p><p>· Solid team player who promotes a culture of professionalism, integrity, quality and teamwork</p><p>· Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment</p><p>· Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time along with good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with strong attention to detail</p><p>· Capable of following strict processes and procedure, with the ability to work with minimal supervision quickly and accurately</p><p>· 1-2 years of experience working within a highly-regulated GPP/GMP/HACCP environment is an asset</p><p>· Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)</p><p>· Previous experience working in cannabis cultivation is an asset</p><p>· Grade 12 or GED</p><p>· Drivers license or reliable form of transportation</p><p><b>Work Conditions</b></p><p>· Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts during the day</p><p>· Overtime as needed</p><p>· Physically demanding, repetitive and strenuous work</p><p>· Indoor conditions</p><p>· Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs</p><p><b>Competencies</b></p><p>· Accountability and Dependability</p><p>· Safety Conscious</p><p>· Communication</p><p>· Teamwork</p><p>· Adaptability and Flexibility</p><p>· Initiative</p><p>· Problem Solving</p><p>Bold Growth Inc. offers an incredible work environment and career advancement opportunities.
