Field Marketing Representative (aka “Brand Ambassador”)

This role can be a side hustle or your full time focus.

Working your own schedule full or part time, you will deliver samples from an exciting brand locally and get paid each time a business orders from us.

Note: If you live in the same region as the city advertised in this Job Ad we will still consider you and will assign you to a territory nearer to you if you are selected.

Role:

  • Connect with local retailers and get them excited about our brand, products, and company.
  • Call local retailers to arrange in-person meetings where you will deliver samples and introduce them to our company.
  • Connect local retailers with a senior member of our team who will answer all of their technical questions, onboard them to our wholesale portal, and win their business.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent people skills (both over phone & in person).
  • Highly motivated and focused on attaining goals.
  • Strong personal organization and time management abilities.

The Opportunity:

This is an opportunity to build a lifelong connection with an emerging brand. You will work with and learn from our inside sales team according to your availability for a period of only 3-6 months, earning you passive income for years to come.

This role also allows you a great deal of schedule flexibility, and the opportunity to further develop your people skills with business owners who are local to you.

How it Works:

  • Call local retail leads (lead source supplied by us).
  • Schedule in-person meetings with the decision maker and get them excited about us.
  • At the meeting… Make a really great first impression, present samples, and keep it cool (no salesy stuff!).
  • Input key notes about the meeting and let our inside sales team close deals.
  • Earn passive commissions on any and all future sales that our team makes to your accounts (up to ~$10,000 per account).

Compensation:

Field reps will select their compensation model from one of the 2 options below.

Hybrid Model:

  • Commissions: (up to $5,150 per account) +
  • Flat Delivery Compensation: $15 / delivery

Commission Only

  • Commissions: (up to $10,300 per account)

Commission Only Example:

  • Our inside sales team (for a conservative example) wins 50% of the 100 targeted stores you visited over 3 months. Those 50 stores then average $1,000 per month in wholesale spend. At 10% commission, this would earn you

$100/month per store, equating to $5,000 in passive income every month for years to come. Note: Commissions are front-loaded (30%/10%/5%) so you can expect a windfall followed by steady passive income.

  • We are releasing new product lines in the near future and will continue to grow our offerings and support as a means of increasing monthly spend and maximizing the lifetime value of all accounts. (e.g. single store locations can easily do $1,000 - $10,000 per month)

Requirements:

We are looking for a minimum commitment of 90 days. Detailed requirements below:

Time Requirements:

To be effective, Field Marketing Reps should spend 15 to +40 hours per-week identifying local retailers, scheduling meetings, and presenting samples to decision makers.

  • 10 day trial period delivering 10 samples to local retailers. After successfully completing the trial you will continue to deliver samples in your assigned territory for the remainder of the 90 day engagement and beyond if you choose to continue.
  • Must be available to communicate with our team during normal business hours

(9AM - 5PM your time zone, Monday - Friday).

  • Must arrive on-time for all scheduled meetings (arriving early to appointments will further aid success so please be mindful of individuals time and your own).

Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent people skills (both over phone and in person).
  • Contacting retailers via phone, getting through to decision makers, and securing in-person meetings (typically held at their store).
