Position Summary:

Charlottes Web is looking for a dynamic self-starter and passionate about category trends to join our Sales Operations Team. The Category Manager will be responsible for owning the organizations syndicated data reporting suite, as well as lead the collaboration process with Sales. This role will report to the Director of Business Strategy & Planning and will work collaboratively with all team members to drive insights for core business metrics and contribute to company culture. This position requires a high level of analytical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and projects at once while meeting deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a broad range of data metrics, tools, and analytics to identify opportunities and deliver insights to our customers and internal stakeholders
  • Create category platform by consolidating macro trends, insights, and fundamentals into category strategy and growth drivers
  • Prepare and present strategic insights to customers to support selling initiatives and secure alignment of strategic and tactical plans at multiple levels of the organization
  • Be the internal expert on the category and category management
  • Provide leadership to the customer team across cross-functional teams to create dialogue via fact based insights and actionable business analytics

Qualifications:

  • Great communicator, both written, verbally, and when presenting
  • Strong problem solver Self-starter with proven ability to work independently and on own initiative
  • Proficient in syndicated data management within Nielsen and SPINS
  • Organized and task oriented Adaptable to frequent change in an entrepreneurial culture
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Business Degree from an accredited University or College 5+ years of experience in Sales & Trade Management
  • Background in Consumer Packaged Goods a plus

Compensation:

$71,300.00 - $119,200.00
