the Company</p><p>The Facility Operations Manager is responsible for People, Process, Product and Infrastructure which includes the management and accountability for compliance, P&amp;L, budgets, cash flow and production targets, human resources, repairs and maintenance, health and safety and security.</p><p>This includes leading all cultivation, manufacturing and production agents, including schedules, training, policy and procedure updates, industry news, and product information as well as lead procurement, waste disposal and inventory management activities.</p><p>The position must maintain strong partnerships with corporate leaders of Infrastructure, Horticulture, Manufacturing and Compliance.</p><p>The Cultivation and Manufacturing Facility is a busy operation and therefore in advance to ensure smooth business operations.</p><p><b>Major Areas of Responsibility include :</b></p><p>This position manages functional operating units such as Horticulture and Cultivation, Inventory Control and Manufacturing Production which may include Extraction, Pharmaceutical Production and Commercial Kitchen operations.</p><p>The Facility Operations Manager has responsibility for all staff in the facility and acts as a liaison externally between the Cultivation and Dispensing Facilities and the local community, including law enforcement.</p><p>• Maintain a highly focused, diligent, lean operational culture dedicated to Columbia Care’s established mission objectives.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with all State and local laws, rules and regulations governing the local medical marijuana program, and other regulations such as OSHA, HIPAA, NFPA and others.</p><p>• Oversee staff training and education to ensure that SOPs, Health and Safety, and good agricultural and manufacturing practices are followed.</p><p>• Manage security of the facility in partnership with corporate VP, Security. This includes implementing and maintaining security systems for tracking, record keeping, record retention and surveillance related to all product at every stage of, storage, delivery, transporting, and distribution.</p><p>• General facility repairs and maintenance and overseeing minor Capex projects.</p><p>• Work with Cultivation and Manufacturing teams to establish protocols to ensure the facility can maintain efficient production throughput and establish and implement procedures focused on increasing yields and finished goods production while reducing costs and increasing quality within the approved SOP framework.</p><p>• Establish and meet daily / weekly production requirements and KPI’s.</p><p>• Work with department leads / supervisors in maintaining GMP audit-readiness.</p><p>• Ensure Just-In-Time inventory management is maintained as it pertains to the production of finished goods, raw materials and other inventory items as required.</p><p>• Work with Quality Management to ensure vendor relationships are maintained and able to support cultivation, manufacturing and production needs.</p><p>• Assist state and local government officials and law enforcement with inventory, sales and compliance audits.</p><p>• Oversee and manage the tracking of all inventory in seed to sale software system and liaise with the accounting department to maintain, with the administrative, flower, and post-harvest staffs, control of all inventory (plants, in-process products, and final products) in the facility.</p><p>Required Skills</p><p>All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.</p><p>• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Facility Management, Engineering, Agriculture or Business Administration.</p><p>• Minimum 8 years’ facility management experience with progressively more responsibility; preferably managing commercial agriculture or GMP manufacturing facilities.</p><p>• Experience must include hands-on responsibility for the full scope of human resources activities, both operations and staff resource planning.</p><p>• Ideal candidate would also have Lean Six Sigma and / or Kaizen experience in managing a highly regulated and production-based facility.</p><p>• High level observation skills / attention to detail.</p><p>• Excellent and confident communicator.</p><p>• Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively.</p><p>• Self-starter and self-motivator.</p><p>• Persistent in driving high standards and professionalism.</p><p>• Willing to work on a hands on basis and contribute positively in a growing company environment.</p><p>• Solid software skills MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Inventory Tracking.</p><p>About Columbia Care</p><p>Columbia Care is one of the largest and most experienced cultivators, manufacturers and providers of cannabis products and related services, with licenses in 18 U.</p><p>S. jurisdictions and the EU. The Assistant Cultivation Manager will provide oversight of all Cultivation Supervisors and Cultivation Associates and ensure that the facility is safe and compliant with DOH, OSHA, EPA, MED and state regulations at all times. Additionally, the Assistant Cultivation Manager is responsible for ensuring all company policies are upheld and all company-provided standard operating procedures are adhered to.
