Our facility is located in Uxbridge where we are looking to add to our passionate, dedicated, hardworking, focused, responsible and highly experienced team.

As the Facility Manager you will report directly to the COO (one of our owners) and shall have the following responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Working with our entire cultivation team especially our Head Grower to:
  • Ensure our facilities are aligned with our cultivation plans especially as it relates to irrigation and fertigation.
  • Ensure all facility improvements align with our cultivation plans.
  • Ensure our maintenance plans and schedules corelate to our cultivation plans and overall best practices.
  • Ensure all work is being done to support plant health in terms of both quality and yield and suggest improvements and symmetries to drive production in a sustainable and efficient way.
  • Working directly with the CEO (one of our owners) to manage, maintain and improve our automated irrigation and fertigation system.
  • Managing a team of facilities and maintenance personnel to complete maintenance as well as facility improvement projects.
  • Working with our subcontractors and general contractors on all aspects of our facility development and long-term buildout.
  • Ensuring all equipment, machinery and systems are running as efficiently and optimally as possible at all times and reducing down time by proper maintenance and upkeep in order to lead to a successful cultivation.
  • Assess our overall facility on a regular basis and identify areas of improvement and necessary maintenance including emergency maintenance and repairs as needed from time to time.
  • Establish clear guidelines, schedules and SOPs as it relates to all facility maintenance activities.
  • Establish proper tracking systems on what has been maintained and improved when and how those things occurred as well as an inventory of the necessary tools, equipment and materials to ensure proper maintenance and improvements can be made in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure all activities are completed in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Inspect all work by our internal team as well as contractors for quality and completeness.
  • Recommend and/or assist in the pursuit of additional team members and/or contractors to improve the overall function of the facility.
  • Some cultivation work will be greatly helpful from time to time especially during the busiest times of planting and harvesting to ensure our entire company is focused on the plants. This work may include but not be limited to; plant care, plant maintenance, nutrient application, pruning, data collection, defoliating, cutting, moving plants, maintain plant environment, sanitation, etc.
  • Willing to provide feedback and ideas for system and process improvements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A positive attitude, a great work ethic, honest, trustworthy, willingness to learn, take direction, lead and be a self-starter.
  • Management experience along with strong communication skills are a must.
  • Experience with irrigation and/or fertigation systems are a must.
  • Experience with HVAC is a big plus.
  • Experience with plumbing is a big plus.
  • Experience with electrical work and systems is preferred.
  • Experience with general carpentry and/or masonry/concrete work is preferred.
  • Experience building, developing and/or operating a farm is a big plus.
  • Experience with facilities management, maintenance management and/or construction is a plus especially as it relates farming or cultivation is a big plus and if in relation to cannabis cultivation is a huge plus.
  • Must be willing to get your hands dirty and work with the team when needed and lead from the front.
  • Experience managing construction projects is a plus and if this construction relates to farming and/or cannabis cultivation it is a major plus.
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment but also able to work individually and accomplish individual tasks and goals.
  • Must have good hygiene and understand the importance of proper hygiene and overall cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Must be 21+ and willing and able to pass background screening.
  • Ability to work weekends, early mornings and long hours when needed on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and confidential information.
  • Ability to work in a physically active role where much of your time shall be spent on your feet walking, standing, bending over, kneeling, reaching up, performing repetitive motions, lifting, etc. especially outdoors.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Computer/technological literacy at least to a basic level is preferred but not required.

This is a full-time position with compensation level commensurate with experience and value generation. Please note that this is not an entry level position.
