JARS Cannabis is an MSO with headquarters in Metro Detroit. JARS is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Manager to add to the growing team that embodies our brand values: Inclusive, Daring, Nimble, Playful and Gritty.

We are looking for an experience Maintenance Manager to oversee construction, labor and day-to-day maintenance for our retail locations across the state. This candidate would have the knowledge in general construction and ability to fix and trouble shoot minor to medium issues ranging from construction to plumbing.

Responsibilities for Maintenance Manager

• Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, janitors etc.)

• Manage relationships with contractors and service provider

• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary

• Monitor electrical and hydraulic systems of facilities to ensure functionality

• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities

• Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities

• Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required

• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

Qualifications for Maintenance Manager

• 5+ years' experience in maintenance management role

• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems

• Ability to keep track of and report on activity

• Experience in planning maintenance operations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent leadership and management skills

• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members

• Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year

The manager will also be accountable for managing the budget, preventative maintenance, and conservation and responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements.</p><p><b>THE TEAM:</b></p><p>We identify, evaluate, and acquire U.S.-based cannabis operations within each state to vertically integrate, produce, and distribute medical-grade cannabis formulations in the United States offering patients and customers premium, high-grade cannabis and related products.</p><p><b>WHAT YOU WILL DO:</b></p><p>• Responsible for implementing Jushi's maintenance system at the GPs</p><p>• Conduct daily reviews and ensure urgent corrective action to remedy all issues and deficiencies identified in our facilities nationally</p><p>• Partner with all stakeholders, members, and staff alike, to create an attractive and safe environment at all times</p><p>• Work with National and Regional Operations team to ensure delivery of all internal standards for facility maintenance schedules and process</p><p>• Conduct regular maintenance inspections to ensure all equipment receives proper preventative maintenance on schedules created and or previously established by Jushi, standard best practices, and or manufacturers, retail, and cultivation guidelines</p><p>• Plan, schedule, direct, manage and perform general maintenance and preventative maintenance for all areas of the property</p><p>• Assist in managing the physical facility including equipment, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, envelope, equipment, and life safety systems</p><p>• Manage and optimize inventory of spare parts</p><p>• Responsible for the execution of the maintenance budget in the facility</p><p>• Partner with housekeeping director to establish and manage an effective maintenance and cleaning program</p><p>• Report and continuously improve the KPIs of the Maintenance department, both on efficiency and efficacy</p><p>• Oversee and participates in all capital improvement projects as needed by the construction team</p><p>• Ensure all vendor contracts are properly reviewed, negotiated, and executed to Jushi's standards and, when necessary, flagged to the executive team</p><p>• Provide guidance and recommendations for selection/recruitment/award and retention of world-class partnerships and commit to Gain, Train, and Retain</p><p>• Hold Facilities team accountable for the timely completion and accurate communication of brand initiatives, fostering a culture of accountability and driving brand momentum</p><p>• Other duties as needed</p><p><b>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:</b></p><p>• Engineering degrees from an accredited university</p><p>• At least 5 years of hands-on Facility Maintenance experience.</p><p>• Knowledge of Fire and Life Safety equipment and OSHA Standards.</p><p>• Strong negotiation skills.</p><p>• Understanding of Housekeeping &amp; Laundry Operations preferable.</p><p>• Computer literacy in MS Office</p><p>• Leadership and influencing skills</p><p><b>WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER OUR EMPLOYEES AT JUSHI:</b></p><p>We offer benefit packages that may include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short, and Long Term Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k).</p><p><b>BONUS DUTIES YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND:</b></p><p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
