Shoppers Drug Mart is looking to hire a Co-op Student within our Emerging Business Division. This is a great opportunity for anyone planning to gain work experience in developing/building strategic partnership skills from Canada’s largest pharmacy corporate head office.
The Co-op Student coordinator will assist the Shopper’s Medical Cannabis team in major launch initiatives and assist in developing key relationships with internal/external stakeholder’s. The Co-op Student will work with vendors and internal customers to ensure a successful outcome.

What You’ll Learn:
  • Real world knowledge of working on a new product launch in medical cannabis
  • Hands on involvement in planning and execution of strategic partnership projects
  • Participate in regular team meetings

Responsibilities: Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:
  • Research relevant industry topics and compose summaries in the form of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word formats
  • Assist with coordinating meetings with internal/external stakeholder’s
  • Project manage multiple projects, ensuring team members are accountable and deliver on time and on budget
  • Support strategic partnership and Long-term care initiatives
  • Support budgeting and communication internally to accounts payable
  • Perform business analytics on customer and vendor data

What You'll Need:
  • Enrolled in a post-secondary education in science, business or related field
  • Must be motivated, organized and possess good communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative
  • Must be comfortable working with external vendors/suppliers and possess strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Must be comfortable working with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

The PCR will educate patients/caregivers on medical marijuana products under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
