Do you have a passion for digital media and want to build a portfolio in the quickly growing legal cannabis industry?

We are hiring a marketing and media assistant to support the department in content creation, campaign management and print production.

A qualified candidate will be familiar with Adobe’s Creative Suite, mainly Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as video editing software, such as Premier or Final Cut.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating social media content utilizing photos and video
  • Managing a posting schedule using Hootsuite
  • Managing online retailer menu presence via Dutchie/Olla/iHeartJane
  • Updating website content through Wordpress
  • Assisting with photography and videos
  • Assisting industry or retailer event activation
  • Operating in-house label printers and managing inventory

Experience

  • 2+ years with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • 2+ video editing experience
  • Photography
  • Wordpress experience is a plus
  • Print production experience is a plus

Requirements

  • General knowledge of social media strategies, platforms and tools
  • General understanding of media file formats and specifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, proactive and self-motivating
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to travel
  • Must be 21 years old
  • Be able to pass a background screening
  • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
