We take pride in producing, and providing our community with high quality CBD and Hemp-Derived THC products right here in our facility. Our products include baked edibles, hard candies, gummies, tinctures, hemp-flower, pre-rolls, topical CBD products, vaporizer cartridges, and pet products. We are a small, but expanding company, with 3 team members so far; our owner/operations manager, store/retail manager, and one production associate. This is an exciting time for us as we want to bring someone onto the team who is responsible for our kitchen and manufacturing our products. Nova Hemp is located in Marshall, which is a small town in Fauquier County, right off of Interstate-66. Our customers are mostly Virginia-based, although we do some inter-state sales as well since we have an online store. Our customers rely on us to provide quality products to ease anxiety, provide pain relief, aid with sleep, or just to have a good time.

About the Opportunity:

The Infused Product Crafter has a very important role at Nova Hemp. The IPC is a skilled position, responsible for producing baked goods, hard candies, chocolates, and other goods, and keeping our production facility clean, stocked, and safe on a daily basis. This position involves some relatively complicated, but common-sense mathematics when it comes to dosing the products, and it is crucial to us that our products remain consistent in their dose. This position also allows for some creativity and passion in the kitchen - we are always looking for new products that the IPC can learn and master.

Our ideal candidate is creative, hard working, analytical, logical, maybe a little bit of a perfectionist, and good at multitasking. Ideally, our perfect candidate has some experience working in an industrial kitchen or restaurant kitchen, and may even have some experience making their own infused goods. We are looking for someone who wants to turn this into a career, and is interested in growing with us in the long term with our quickly expanding business in an exciting new industry in Virginia.

The Infused Product Crafter’s responsibilities include:

Knowledge/experience with different cannabinoids, what they are, what ratios work best in infused goods, etc.

Ability to read and accurately interpret Certificates of Analysis used in recipes and accurately dose products with consistency.

Responsible for performing daily duties of the kitchen; including mixing, measuring, weighing, blending, filling, packaging, baking etc.

Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the production facility and lab/kitchen materials used in production.

Ability to adapt to and implement new methods for product optimization, and new product development.

Ability to keep up with seasonal trends, market trends, etc for new product development.

Keeping supplies stocked and the facility clean and organized daily.

Education & Requirements:

Must be 21 at time of hire

Minimum High School Diploma or GED

Valid Driver's License or state issued ID

Knowledge and experience relating to cannabis/hemp products preferred

Knowledge and ability to use lab equipment, standard kitchen equipment properly

Must be and be able to remain compliant with all legal or company regulations while working in the cannabis industry

Must be able to commit to working 30+ hours per week

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must able to lift at least 20 pounds

Must able to climb and stand on step-stool at times

Hours are flexible, although our ideal hours would be around 7 AM - 4 PM Tuesday through Friday.

If a candidate is interested, they can also work at pop-up events on weekends i.e. festivals, craft

fairs, farmers markets, etc, or crosstrain to work in the storefront.

Pay rate starts at $20/hr.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Benefits:

Employee discount

Flexible schedule

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

Marshall, VA 20115: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

Kitchen: 3 years (Preferred)

Work Location: One location

","company":{"name":"Northern Virginia Hemp and Agriculture"},"location":{"country":"United States","address":"Marshall, VA 20115","city":"Marshall","stateProvince":"VA"},"frontendLink":"/job-posting/northern-virginia-hemp-and-agriculture/infused-product-crafter/c03bb5dd1f5a7ec8c9999a61d9ee7814","title":"Infused Product Crafter","category":"Agriculture & Farming","hash":"c03bb5dd1f5a7ec8c9999a61d9ee7814","postingUrl":"https://www.indeed.com/job/infused-product-crafter-192f402b13caa089"},{"employmentType":"Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship","function":["Cultivation"],"postedOn":"2 days ago","description":"

Holly Hill Farm (located at 236 Jerusalem Road, Cohasset, MA) is looking for assistant growers.
