Job Title: Cultivation Coordinator

Summary
The Cultivation Coordinator is responsible for protecting company assets and ensuring Marijuana Enforcement Division compliance through the maintenance of cultivation security and accuracy of inventory kept within the cultivation facility. Additionally, the Lead Operations Associate is responsible for performing transport manifest verification, including counting physical inventory and comparing counts with METRC reports, as well as verifying invoice accuracy for all incoming and outgoing shipments of state-regulated products. The Lead Operations Associate must secure products prior to transport and achieve loss prevention by monitoring facility access and ensuring compliance.


Compensation: $19.00/hour + Full Time Benefits


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a friendly, courteous and compassionate demeanor at all times

  • Understand the complexity of compliance requirements governing the businesses, including the following regulatory agencies: Marijuana Enforcement Division, Fire Department, City Zoning and Planning, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and more
  • Physically organize facility inventory
  • Receive incoming inventory and verify accuracy of batch, weight and name; perform an initial quality assurance check upon receipt
  • Package and label bulk products for all outgoing shipments and vendor orders, while verifying accuracy of physical count/weight and all other order details
  • Create and/or verify accuracy of METRC manifest and invoice for all shipments
  • Control and release inventory to transport staff for distribution to retail locations or wholesale clients
  • Maintain accurate METRC inventory by monitoring RFID tracking throughout the development and distribution process
  • Select samples and/or coordinate with MED-approved sampler in regard to potency and contaminant testing; maintain product during holding period
  • Ensure security and integrity of the facility; abstain from unauthorized access
  • Check METRC daily for released inventory while adhering to strict compliance regulations
  • Coordinate with Managers and manufacturing staff to maintain production needs
  • Maintain par levels of raw product vault inventory by reporting low levels to Managers and cultivation staff
  • Coordinate with the Compliance team, Managers and Leads to correct quality assurance/compliance concerns
  • Package and label bulk products with package tag/batch #, strain name, weight, ingredients and potency test results to fill distribution orders
  • Report inventory totals to management to determine distribution needs for each retail location
  • Stage outgoing orders in distribution cage for pick-up
  • Differentiate manifest type for each outgoing shipment, including transfer, wholesale, and/or infused transfer
  • Adapt to a variety of working environments, including offices, manufacturing and cultivation facilities with ability to professionally interface with a range of employees and the public
  • Responsible for reading and understanding all department-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation
  • All other job duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education

  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in any field required

Training

  • Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Management
  • Must have 1+ years of METRC training or experience

Required Skills & Experience

  • Excellent computer, mathematical, language and reasoning skills

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements; Previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities
  • 2+ years of METRC training or experience

Any non-client time will be spent on personal investment, internal initiatives and administrative tasks.</p><p><b>Responsibilities include:</b></p><p>• Deep understanding of the Cannabis industry.</p><p>• Possess skills to architect solutions that deliver results for our clients</p><p>• Interface with customer project stakeholders, including C-level management and directors, to elicit business and functional requirements</p><p>• Function as a subject matter expert for application design, feature optimization, availability, scalability, user experience, visualization and data integrity</p><p>• Develop functional specification designs including definition of functional requirements and business scenarios</p><p>• Drive the effective transition of requirements to delivery and development consultants, ensuring a clear and complete understanding of the requirements for a successful delivery to end customer?</p><p>• Participate and/ or lead quality management reviews including designs, prototypes and other stages of project to ensure requirements are fulfilled</p><p>• Engage with project teams to gather assets, best practices and guidance from our customers in an effort to integrate and/or improve our methodologies and end customer experience</p><p><b>Profile for Success:</b></p><p>• Over two years of ERP (ideally D365) implementation experience</p><p>• Extensive experience in the Cannabis industry</p><p>• Extensive experience working in core logistical and manufacturing business processes such as Procurement, Sales, Distribution, Warehouse Management, Material and Resource Scheduling/ Planning, Production Routing, Bill of Material Costing, and Shop Floor.</p><p>• Knowledge of accounting business processes and integration with operations a strong plus</p><p>• Experience working with and/or implementing complimentary third party solutions to D365 product including ADC, EDI, WMS, CRM, ECM, and Plant Maintenance desired</p><p>• CPIM, CSCP certification a plus</p><p>• Must have reputation and references with previous clients, contacts, and/or partners</p><p>• Must be able to manage time, prioritize and communicate commitments</p><p>• Must have strong client and internal communication skills with experience working in highly collaborative teams</p><p>• Must be able to produce specific examples of work product (functional requirements, design, output, test plans, etc.)</p><p>• Bachelors degree required</p><p>• Prior consulting organization experience preferred</p><p>• Flexibility to travel up to 50% if needed.</p><p><b>Our Benefits:</b></p><p>At Crowe, we know that great people are what makes a great firm.
