Our client is a vertically integrated medical cannabis company in St. Vincent & The Grenadines which is part of a wider group with operations spanning across multiple jurisdictions and industries. We are looking for an Extraction Manager to join our fast-growing team and organisation.

Compensation & Job type: Full-time following probation period.
Salary: commensurate with experience. ($60-70k USD per annum base ).
Relocation package + accommodation and vehicle .

THE POSITION:

Execute and oversee all cannabis extraction and production operations. Responsibilities include laboratory setup, standard operating procedure development, regulatory compliance, hiring, training and personnel management, ensuring all cannabis extracted products are produced safely, efficiently, and consistently.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage team using ethanol/CO2 extraction, ethanol recovery, filtration, decarboxylation, distillation equipment, post processing of all products.

* Implementing, monitoring, and performing calibration of all lab equipment by establishing and ensuring consistent standards of use

* Oversee the manufacturing and packaging of all products (flower, capsules, vape carts, etc)

* Review and develop current and future extraction operations to improve efficiency and productivity

* Upholding SOP procedures and documenting planned deviations or non-conformities when required

* Understanding up-to-date Cannabis Regulations within the CARICOM region

Specific Job Functions & Expectations:

* Manage and optimise the timing of product batches and ensure all consumables are ordered in a timely fashion.

* Create and update SOP'S for current and future processes

* Create maintenance schedule for all equipment as well as ensure all maintenance is logged and recorded

* Auditing production process and working with other departments to ensure procedures and reports are accurate and up to date

* Direct and monitor adherence to current SOP's and governing body requirements

* Facilitating testing with a variety of samples and R&D products with external labs

* Scheduling and tracking production equipment preventative maintenance and calibrations

* Review and approval of requested materials, equipment, and chemicals for production

* Assist with product recall/remediation or complaint investigations when necessary

Experience:

* University degree in a relevant scientific field preferred

* Minimum (3) years management experience in a similar role within the Cannabis Industry

* Experience in cGMP, HACCP, GAP regulated environment (cannabis, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, etc.) is a must

* Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills required

* Excellent time management and organisational skills required

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience training others

* Comfortable working in and capable of setting priorities in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

* Strong IT skills

Compensation will include performance and bonus incentives.</p><p>• This position is Fully Remote*</p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p>• Identify new industry specific clients and build relationships with the executives.</p><p>• Identify qualified candidates to fill specific roles for our corporate clients.</p><p>• Review resumes and conduct phone and video interviews to qualify applicants.</p><p>• Assist with interview preparations, all communications and extending offers to qualified applicants.</p><p>• Send and review new hire paperwork with the new hires including scheduling background checks.</p><p>• Create and continuously update client and applicant files in the system for updating and tracking.</p><p>• Achieve weekly and monthly hiring goals to ensure client satisfaction.</p><p>• Work with hiring managers to ensure their staffing needs are met.</p><p>• Assist with any other projects or functions within a fast paced work environment.</p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><p>• A great desire to work within the Cannabis Industry, with the knowledge and understanding of the growing, wholesale and retail sales process.</p><p>• Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or a related field ideal.</p><p>• Ability to work in a fast paced environment that is deadline driven.</p><p>• Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of full cycle recruiting experience with a larger regional or National Staffing Firm.</p><p>• Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment lifecycle processes.</p><p>• Computer proficiency with applicant tracking using integrated customized CRM, Gmail Suite including Docs, Sheets and Calendar.</p><p>• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills.</p><p>• Must be able to accommodate a flexible Monday-Friday schedule with the occasional Saturday or weekends as necessary.</p><p>If this sounds like the position you have been waiting for, please apply using the online application or the link below - all inquiries are strictly confidential.
