Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate solventless terpene extraction, short path distillation, and rotary evaporator equipment for primary and secondary refinement of crude cannabis oil
Accurately follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
Operate, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on solventless terpene extraction, short path distillation, and rotary evaporator equipment
Document information by creating and maintaining accurate batch records
Navigate and operate Cannabis Tracking Systems (CTS’s) and execute common commands to accomplish tasks
Ensure laboratory safety and ensure that the laboratory remains in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations
Actively participate in manufacturing meetings
Maintain a clean and organized workplace in the laboratory
Maintain glassware by picking up, cleaning, washing, sterilizing and organizing
Assist management in daily manufacturing processes to assure that all goals and demands are met and exceeded as the lab scales into greater capabilities

Skill, Experience & Education:
College Degree in STEM preferred
1-2 years of laboratory and/or related hands-on experience
Proficiency with Microsoft based programs
Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations
Ability to troubleshoot process or equipment failures
Ability to have detailed records, proper labeling, and data tracking
Familiarity with chemical and laboratory safety
Able to work independently and within team environments to accomplish tasks
Motivated and eager to learn/develop
Must be over 21 years of age

Production <br /> <br /> <ul> <li>Ensures material is packed, organized, and ready for extraction 1 day ahead of extraction schedule</li> <li>Assists in packing biomass, post processing activities, and the setup, breakdown, and regular operation of the extraction room(s) as needed.</li> <li>Ensures material condition is maintained.</li> <li>Works with harvest dept. to ensure material intakes are scheduled and quality standards are being met.</li> <li>Ensures all raw material is organized, labeled, and accounted for per SOP.</li> <li>Ensures material intakes are completed on schedule.</li> <li>Traceability and Data Tracking</li> <li>Preforms and oversees all traceability conversions and transfers as it relates to the biomass dept.</li> <li>Preforms a monthly audit of the traceability system and provides a written report to management.</li> <li>Logs material information in a designated tracker.</li> </ul> Job Qualifications <br />To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.
