As the Supervisor, Demand Planning, you will be coordinating the planning and execution and working closely with the sales team to plan to the Unrestrained demand that will support our business objectives. You will take the lead in developing the plan that supports the organizations deliverables in terms of revenue and customer satisfaction. Supervise a team of high performing individuals who are interfacing with Supply chain, Sales on upcoming 3rd party & raw materials in support of the site operations is a key element of this role. The ideal candidate is energetic, collaborative, well organized, and forward- thinking. This position reports to the Director of Operations.

This position is based out of Stayner.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and supervise a highly successful production plan that drives our revenue while controlling the age of product to the sales demand.
  • Actively partner with Supply chain to ensure two-way, collaborative relationships that deliver greater levels of innovation and operational competitive advantage.
  • Align with the Sales forecast and manufacturing to ensure product is available to offer to the market.
  • Plan and build strategic levels of raw materials/biomass to ensure the manufacturing facilities are capable of continuous manufacturing levels in line with the unconstrained demand plan.
  • Provide strategic direction, vision, and leadership to direct reports including coaching, mentoring, and developing.
  • Develop Objectives goals with the team members and provide regular feedback/corrective action measures where required.
  • Develop KPI’s that are aligned within the overarching business vision.
  • Provide reports to management as required.
  • Actively participate in the Sales and Operations Planning process, to ensure we are meeting/exceeding the revenue targets and customer satisfaction levels as set forth by the Senior Leadership team.
  • Participate in the development of processes which will ensure a smooth flow of inventory information, including the allocation process, to allow seamless visibility to the Greman sales organization.
  • Support stakeholders to identify incremental opportunities with new cultivars as they become available.
  • Other projects/duties as required to support the business.

Your Environment: (for production specific roles only)

  • 5+ years’ experience in demand planning, with a demonstrated track record of success in complex organizations to support growth and performance improvement.
  • Proven experience using data (KPIs) in a measurable way to achieve a specific strategic result that is relevant to overall strategy.
  • Strong excel, word and PowerPoint skills.

You’ll need to have:

  • Working in a busy office environment with frequent interruptions
  • Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Attending and conducting presentations
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Able to work collaboratively with a communication style that is direct and transparent.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Diploma in Business Management from an accredited Canadian College.
