General summary of role

The data analyst role will work directly with the Chief Financial Officer and provide the data compilation and analysis for the company. They will assist in compilation, interpretation, and reporting of key data points throughout all company departments. These departments include cultivation, manufacturing (including processing, packaging, and commercial kitchen operations), retail, and admin/financial. This is a critical role, whose main objective is to offer valuable information to aid in decision making on micro and macro levels company wide.

- Extracting, transforming, and storing data from multiple departments for analysis and comparison over time.

- Maintaining a level of knowledge on data sets from multiple departments to interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

- Actively partnering with departments throughout the company to seek out various data points and compile weekly overview reports for executive leadership.

- Assisting with various projects laid out by the Chief Financial Officer

Job requirements

- Bachelor’s degree (Preferably with an accounting, business, computer science or economics focus)

- Highly proficient in Excel & QuickBooks

- Experience creating data visualizations in excel

- Background and understanding of accounting principles is preferred

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

- Strong mathematics skills and attention to detail to aid in compiling and interpreting large and complex data sets
