About the Role

The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of Eden Infusions Manufacturing and Distribution Facility in Watsonville, California. This includes a team of non-exempt, hourly manufacturing employees.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the strategic and operational management of the supply chain, manufacturing and distribution.

  • Supervises, trains, monitors and coaches a Team of hourly, non-exempt, employees in the area of job performance and production. Conducts performance actions as needed.

  • Plans, controls and coordinates facilities operations in coordination with the Operations Manager.

  • Ensures proper installation, functioning and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and helps trains manufacturing team on the safe and proper use of manufacturing equipment;

  • Ensures all products in inventory are compliantly entered into our software system.

  • Responsible for all Inventory Management. (Google Sheets, Metric, Backbone)

  • Oversees all EOM inventory valuations and physical counts.

  • Ensures that all products are made within Quality Control (QC) parameters.

  • Supports, collaborates and effectively communicates with other levels-of-management to proactively resolve technical issues

  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • Must be at least age 21. Willingness to take and successfully pass a background check.

  • Three to five years of demonstrated experience working in a consumer packaging environment. Knowledge of the cannabis industry is highly preferred.

  • Supply chain management (including distribution) in pharmaceutical or other relevant industry; experience in new product launches is strongly preferred.

  • Some college level course work in Business Administration is highly preferred.

  • Two to three years demonstrated experience supervising and/or leading non-exempt, operations, teams.

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Comfortable with engaging with individuals and small groups.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Applications including Google Docs, Google Calendar, etc.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Soft Skills

  • Ability to easily adapt and provide support where needed.
