The Sales Director is a strongly motivated sales professional that works closely with distributing partners to hunt and farm accounts. This person needs to be a true road warrior based within the territory that has experience launching a cannabis brand and lives for the thrill of knocking down doors and increasing market share. You will be representing one of the best selling brands on the market during an exciting time of product and company expansion.

Job responsibilities:

• Reach out to prospective accounts.

• Maintain current accounts and increase volume.

• Keep menus up to date and distribute to clients.

• Track KPIs and incorporate reports into sales strategy.

• Regular meetings with the team and higher ups to discuss activity.

• Support clients with inventory and related assets including discount pricing plans.

• Invite every encounter as an opportunity to promote the brand mission and serve as a solution provider to partners.

• Juggle conflicting priorities and tasks using strong time management skills.

• Be a supportive leader to encourage a collaborative environment across teams.

• Offer a customer oriented approach rooted in passion for benefitting peoples' lives through cannabis.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of outside sales experience.

• Bachelor's degree.

• Strong work ethic and communication skills.

• Ability to travel in order to do business.

• Ability to take a data driven approach to sales in order to boost quantity and quality.

Someone who has a proven track record of cannabis sales, a solid understanding of revenue management, prior sales management experience, and is comfortable working with/reporting directly to the CEO</p><p>If you excel in hyper-growth, start-up environments and have past sales and sales management experience in cannabis, we suggest you apply</p><p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><p>• Will be responsible for developing and executing statewide and regional sales strategies to meet the revenue objectives of the company</p><p>• Direct management and coaching of Account Executives</p><p>• Upkeep a high standard of customer service</p><p>• Acting as a bridge between the sales and marketing teams, making sure they're collaborating cross-functionally</p><p>• Report directly to the CEO - collaborate to develop and execute effective sales strategies</p><p>• Maintain a high level of character, integrity, and professionalism - always representing the company well</p><p>• Generate sales revenue through statewide sales strategies</p><p>• Establish and communicate clear, targeted sales goals and monitor progress regularly</p><p>• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and present them</p><p>• Utilize sales data for market insights</p><p>• Coaching, fieldwork, and account-by-account strategy development with Account Executives</p><p>• Coordinate with the marketing team on special initiatives, product launches, events, and overall strategy</p><p>• Collaborate with fulfillment and distribution teams</p><p>• Make sure sales data is updated in Salesforce</p><p>Required Skills</p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><p>• 5+ years of sales experience</p><p>• Proven track record of cannabis sales management</p><p>• Strong communication skills (both written &amp; verbal)</p><p>• A strong moral compass</p><p>• Willing to regularly travel in and around the state of Massachusetts as needed</p><p>• The ability to work well cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment</p><p>• Exceptional sales skills: persuasion, overcoming objections and obstacles, active listening, negotiation, and revenue management knowledge</p><p>• Prior Salesforce experience</p><p>• Love and knowledge for the cannabis plant</p><p>• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, &amp; PowerPoint)</p><p>• Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws</p><p>Desired Skills</p><p>• A current book of business and strong relationships with buyers/retailers specifically in the territory</p><p>• Knowledge of the state’s cannabis regulations</p><p>• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce</p><p>About FlowerHire</p><p>FlowerHire is on a mission to build a conscious cannabis community, one hire at a time.
