Our client, a multi-state Cannabis operator is looking for a Director of Operations to oversee the seed to sale operations of their Cultivation and Manufacturing facility in Massachusetts.

Reporting directly to the COO, the Director of Operations will be responsible for leading all of the Facility Operational Departments and its Managers, policing cross department communication, meeting company client deliveries, and upholding key compliance functions. The Director of Operations must have proven experience, be polished, organized, accountable, and have high attention to detail.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage Departmental Teams Directly responsible for managing, overseeing, administering, policing, and controlling departmental heads and departments on a daily basis.
  • Facility Activity Reporting - Manage, update and report daily facility activity using Google Sheets reporting system; this includes cannabis and non-cannabis inventory levels.
  • Auditing Logs Deliveries for Accuracy - Lead daily auditing practices, enforce team in tracking reporting activity.
  • Coordination with Departmental Teams Facilitate the operational flow across departments with product development, orders, production, compliance, distribution, accounting and inventory divisions.
  • Facility Systems Management - Police facility systems and maintain a controlled setting.
  • Facility Advancement Lead the Facility Advancement, be accountable for the department growth, recommend software solutions innovations, design SOPs, methods, policies procedures to advance the department to ensure it meets the needs of the company. Identify cost-effective strategies and efficiencies to improve the department. and maintain trust relationships
  • Report to Senior Executive Team Report to Senior management on a daily, weekly and monthly basis communicating the status of the Inventory Department ensuring business objectives are met.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree required, MBA a plus
  • 5-10 years proven experience working in a comparable facility and/or setting in a highly regulated industry. (Food, CPG, or Pharma)
  • 5-10 years proven experience working as a Director or Manager of operations in a manufacturing, packaging and/or cultivation company.
  • Extensive knowledge of cannabis products is required
  • Must Pass DHS Live Scan
  • Proficient with Google Suite - Drive, Sheets, Gmail, etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel is a must
Compensation: $150-175k Based on Experience

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Director of Compensation will handle design, communication, compliance, and administration of a national compensation program. This role provides strategic thought leadership, program support and consulting on all areas of compensation including pay (broad based, executive and sales), incentive compensation, equity and recognition programs. The role will develop compensation programs and plans system-wide (including annual salaries and short-term incentive plans) for all levels of the organization (executive, management and both exempt and non-exempt staff.)</p><p>• Direct the national compensation programs including executive compensation, sales commissions, salary &amp;
