The Director of Finance will have full financial responsibility for this vertically integrated and multi-location cannabis company

This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of this exciting, new, rapidly-growing industry. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: QuickBooks accounting

Strong knowledge of GAAP.

Strong knowledge and execution of tax process Depreciation and Amortization and Gross Receipts & Payroll Tax.Local Business Registrations & Compliance.W9/1099 and W8/1042 implementation and execution.Manage the Audit Process

Create and maintain Internal Controls.Establish and maintain immaculate record keeping.Lead audit process Provide requisite schedules.Create and Maintain Budgeting Tools

Strong Proficiency in Excel.Budget-to-Actual / Variance reporting.Financial Planning & Analysis.Cash Flow Analysis.Cost Savings Analysis.Manage Internal Teams and Clients Comfortable in startup environment Ability to create structure and foundational accounting processes.Managing staff accountants.Settings expectations.Training staff accountants.Develop training modules and internal templates.

Administrative Duties Create, maintain and develop internal processes Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills & Prerequisites:Candidates transitioning directly out of public accounting will be considered.Bachelor's Degree required. Concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred 7 - 10 years of experience CPA preferred MBA preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting theory, principles and practicesMicrosoft Office proficiencyStrong communication skills (oral and written) are a must Strong priority management skills Proficiency in financial modeling Knowledge of research techniques to analyze data and make recommendations Knowledge of computer information systems to present financial information Ability to prepare statistical reports and analyze financial reports.

Through the Assistant Cultivation Manager, the Cultivation Manager will provide oversight of all Cultivation Associates and ensure that the facility is safe and compliant with all applicable regulations at all times.
