CANNABIS DIRECTOR OF CULTIVATION

Seattle metro area cannabis producer/processor is looking for a motivated full-time Director of Cultivation. This is not an entry-level position, and ten years of cultivation experience is required.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

· Complex and advanced problem-solving

. Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and manage others

· Mechanically inclined and able to service machines and automations on an intermediate level (minimum)

· Order supplies, mediums, inventory and manage line of credits with suppliers

· Daily plant maintenance (leafing, canopy adjustments, etc.)

· Responsible for implementing and executing a preventive maintenance schedule for AC units, dehumidifiers, lights, bulbs, etc.

. Deep cleaning as needed in rooms, drain lines, water lines and general grow areas.

· Supervise harvest days and hanging plants in dry rooms.

. Monitoring dry rooms for humidity and cure

. R&D for new genetics and introduce new strains for brands

. Create and understand spreadsheets and data pertaining to cultivation.

. Create schedules for cloning and strain line ups

· Collaborate with other departments as needed

· Manage time efficiently

· Sit/stand for long periods of time while focusing on detail-oriented work

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment

· Maintain daily compliance with Company policies

· Operate with integrity and honesty

· Perform any other duties as assigned

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

· 10 years of medical/legal, regulated adult-use cultivation experience, preferably in Washington state

· Must be mechanically and mathematically inclined

· Must be extremely hard-working and punctual

· Leadership, accountability, and reporting are required

· Ability to lift 50lbs multiple times in the same day for two days a week

· Ability to work in hot, bright rooms for at least six hours per day

· Must be organized and detail-oriented
