About the Role

We’re looking for a Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain Team. The Demand Planner is accountable for managing the statistical forecast and collaborating with Merchandising, Finance and Account Management to optimize the demand forecast that is communicated to our external partners. This role will be responsible for implementing and managing a framework that maximizes customer service level, reduce inventory levels, improve forecast accuracy, and reduce aged inventory.

About Your Day
  • Develop the statistical forecast which is used to drive purchasing decisions based on supply targets and KPIs
  • Partner with cross functional teams to support the development and planning of new product introductions
  • Support supplier facing activities in conjunction with the Merchandising & Supply Chain teams, including supply/demand reviews, and inventory conversations.
  • Work with cross functional teams on exit strategies and provide recommendations to address excess and aged product
  • Participate and prepare content for monthly forecasting and Open to Buy meetings
About You
  • Completed Post-Secondary education in Business, Supply Chain or related areas OR equivalent combination of experience and completed post-secondary education
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Demand Planning with 3+ years in highly analytical roles
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain, as well as Supply/Demand Planning
  • Must have excellent business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills to build strong business cases for change.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and topics
  • Strong MS Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau and other similar systems experience required
  • Strong business acumen & financial analytics skill
