POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing support for various data processing and reporting functions, to include the utilization of a proprietary software systems (Excel, Access, LIMS, etc.) to complete organizational projects across multiple teams/facilities.

ANALYST DUTIES:

  • Compiles and helps to analyze large Data Sets, including Laboratory Test Results, Stability Test results.
  • Performs data mining and automation support using Domo software and methods; extends existing data processes through third-party applications as needed.
  • Helps to identify data errors; reviews deviations, OOS and OOT to determine root causes and other trends.
  • Assists customers with the collection and coordination of data analysis for various research & development projects.
  • Assists in the research, collection and processing of data/information for special projects; provides support regarding copying, filing, scanning and document processing.
  • Assists in analysis and development of enterprise-wide reporting and creating and maintaining reports and delivery systems for operational and strategic decision making.
  • Responsible for working with laboratory databases and uploading electronic data from laboratories to Government Seed-To-Sale websites.
  • Assures that all data is clean by following up on data discrepancies, missing information and any required updates assigned by Project Managers.
  • Use database querying, data manipulation and analysis to provide support to Project Managers Communicating with Project Staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to function independently, have personal integrity, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with fellow employees.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, Google Sheets, Excel Query, Apps Script and VBA.
  • Demonstrated abilities in data processing, troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Experience in driving tasks and meeting deadlines; accountable for the completion of assigned goals and objectives.
  • Ability to fluently speak and read the English language along with understanding and following both written and verbal directions.

Experience, Education, Licenses/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or technology field from an accredited College or University.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional office and/or laboratory facility.
  • Prior experience in the Start-Up/Cannabis industry is preferred.
