Role Summary: In this position, you will quickly and accurately transfer data from a variety of sources, including written and recorded reports. You must be able to correct existing data, update and develop new and existing databases, and be comfortable working independently with large amounts of numerical and written data. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Update databases or records with new information as it becomes available Correct and modify inaccurate files and records Enter data into appropriate fields, databases, records, and files Transfer data from written records, interviews, and paper formats via computer, recorders, or scanners Handle numerical data accurately Update database or records with new information as it becomes available View and verifying confidential or private customer/client information. Verify data by correctly checking and comparing source documentation Organize paper formats, paper backups, and material source files as needed SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience as data entry clerk (MJ Freeway, SAP) Fast typing skills: Knowledge of touch-typing system is strongly preferred Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.) Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices Two years previous experience in data entry or equivalent experience in a related field In-depth understanding of databases Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills Great attention to detail Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry. We are a fast-growing company looking for people that are excited to grow along with us.</p><p>Responsibilities include but not limited to:</p><ul> <li>Assuring work tasks within their assigned responsibilities are executed per the Standard Work with high degree of Safety, Quality and Regulatory Compliance (Standard Work Audits).</li> <li>Lead Tier 1 Huddles and help manage our CC Lean Management System of Visual Controls for the Scout team (i.e., White Boards, Visual Standards, Signage, etc.)</li> <li>Facilitate and participate in the production board meetings, engaging the Citizens and Leads in the use and leverage of these Lean tools.</li> <li>Assure that IPM events are carried out and executed to standard, such as scouting, dispersing biologicals, distributing and counting population cards, as well as making sure that sprays are carried out per schedule or outbreak response, and more.</li> <li>Coordinate with IPM Lead, Growing Captain and Procurement Team, to source supplies and resources to the cultivation and IPM efforts.</li> <li>Flex support to the IPM Lead or Growing Captain when support and resources are needed in either area.</li> <li>Maintain current application logs per state compliance requirements.</li> <li>Implement regular IPM team training and ensure training logs are kept current.</li> <li>Participate in Lean Kaizen events, Time Observation Studies, and Safety Committees</li> <li>Accountable for Quality Standard Work development and improvement.</li> <li>Perform as Subject Matter Expert in all aspects of Cannabis Plant Growth and Development: Water Sampling, Plant Health, Integrated Pest Management, etc.</li> <li>Help to diagnose plant health, deficiencies, pests, and other issues.</li> <li>Coordinating with Growing Captain, to prescribe and authenticate the chemical applications to the crops.</li></ul><p>Additionally, some things specific to the role:</p><ul> <li>Reporting and documenting all maintenance concerns.</li> <li>Weekly collection of samples for analysis.</li> <li>Set Standards and provide suggestions for improvements.</li> <li>Inspection of quality vigor of bio controls when delivered.</li> <li>Lead and/or execute chemical treatments as necessary.</li> <li>Assist with implementation of room harvest changeover plan.</li> <li>Weekly crop registration and timely reporting.</li> <li>Trial crop registration, harvesting, weighing and reporting.</li> <li>Identify and lead mitigation of Product and Process Defects in the Grow room – considering a wide variety of defects such as plant disease, bad insects, poor product quality, etc.</li> <li>Accountable for establishing and managing Quality Control checks (Leader Standard Work) to ensure process and product quality</li> <li>Collaborate with all Citizens in improving on their daily tasks, assure proper plant quality Standards and training</li> <li>Communicate with clarity and consistency to maintain a positive and progressive team atmosphere.</li> <li>Provide timely and professional feedback to Leadership on Quality concerns.</li> <li>Able to work independently with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Ability to communicate using electronic media such as Slack and Outlook Email.</li> <li>Perform other duties as required; assisting the Cultivation Captain when necessary</li></ul><p><b>The Experience You Bring</b></p><ul> <li>Degree in Horticulture, Biology, Agriculture, or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Experience in growing Cannabis at scale is acceptable in lieu of degree.</li> <li>Obtain the appropriate state required pesticide applicators license, for the required classifications for the greenhouse IPM strategies.</li> <li>Experience combatting multiple greenhouse and cannabis pests with in an IPM strategy.</li> <li>Ability to ID and distinguish between a multitude of pests as well as beneficial biological insects.</li> <li>Ability to coordinate schedules of pesticide application and bio control dispersal for minimum antagonism.</li> <li>Experience using and keeping up maintenance of multiple types of sprayers, foggers, and other application equipment.</li> <li>Knowledge of basic MS Office and METRC. LeafLogix is a plus.</li> <li>Efficient cultivation/production work ethic with application of Lean tools.</li> <li>Knowledge in areas listed: Plant diseases, insects and fungi, fertigation, and plant treatment processes.</li> <li>Must be proactive problem solver, able to influence others in a professional and courteous manner, encourage Lean Thinking and Continuous Improvement</li> <li>Must have high standards of excellence, high attention to detail, and hold themselves and others accountable to Quality Standards of Work.
