The Ontario Cannabis Store provides safe, responsible access to recreational cannabis for adults 19 and older. We operate the sole legal online store for recreational cannabis in Ontario and is now the provincial wholesaler of cannabis for private retail stores.

About the Role

The OCS is looking for a Business Support Specialist to join our Customer Care & Experience (CCE) team. As a Business Support Specialist, you will support the Manager - Quality Monitoring, Training & Operations with driving solutions and continuous improvement initiatives. To drive efficiency and improve process, you will work cross-functionally with various internal partners including Quality Assurance, IT, e-Commerce, Supply Chain and Finance.

This is an exciting role to utilize your collaboration, problem solving and customer service skills to drive forward a budding industry.

About Your Day

• Monitor and maintain the flow of returns to sender, warehouse, or vendor.

• Support the CCE team with customer order and delivery flow and escalations.

• Support with reporting and analysis of KPIs related to Customer Care & Experience, including customer impacting KPIs accountable to internal departments and external vendors.

• Maintain intricate reports that capture important data such as customer impacting shipping and delivery incidents, presenting findings to the Manager - Quality Monitoring, Training & Operations.

• Oversee the customer ordering process and drive the resolution of delivery claims.

• Maintain compliance with customer returns.

• Work with the Finance team to confirm compliance with customer payments.

• Support process improvements to achieve continuous and sustainable improvements in efficiency for the Customer Care & Experience team.

• Support the Quality Monitoring, Training & Operations team with various initiatives.

About You

• Completion of post-secondary education in business, commerce, or related field of study would be an asset.

• 3+ years of Customer Service work experience or experience working with a dedicated client base or in a contact center would be an asset.

• Experience improving resolution times.

• Superior verbal and written communication.

• Advanced Microsoft Dynamics, CRM or MS Customer Service hub skills is a strong asset.

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially as it relates to Excel for complex reporting.

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
