Looking for a store manager to oversee all aspects of operations of the dispensary including product shopping, employee management, compliance and inventory management and more. This position will include an hourly pay plus a significant profit share in bonuses. Requirements include a 4-year college degree, retail management experience, dispensary experience, and in depth knowledge of cannabis.

In this role you will….

  • Overseeing and driving all aspects of store performance, ensuring efficient and sound operations, maximum profit and a best in class store experience.
  • Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are being tracked and achieved on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
  • Collaborate and lead team in planning and implementing strategies to attract and retain repeat customers.
  • Ensure best in class customer experience exists by staying connected to customer needs, anticipating changes, and preparing teams to meet consumer challenges.
  • Restock products and supplies, develop relationships with vendors and shop for and negotiate product purchases.
  • Ensure successful employee training of POS systems, METRC, and other inventory control systems.
  • Maintain visual standards, including merchandise presentation, signage, lighting and general maintenance.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels and communicate discrepancies to upper Management.
  • Work to promote Customer Loyalty Programs.
  • Run internal store meetings, provide feedback for employee development, sales opportunities, and organizational improvements.
  • Develop store’s schedule to ensure proper sales floor coverage during peak selling hours.
  • Handle and mitigate customer complaints in a professional manner to ensure their overall satisfaction.
  • Educate and coach store employees on product knowledge, shrink protocol, and safety protocol.
  • Interact and build relationships with external vendors; plan and execute in store events.
  • Hire new employees, training and development new and current employees.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years retail management experience preferred, or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, POS systems; experience with METRC preferred.
  • Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples.
  • Ability to drive proven improvements across all areas managed
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; ability to correspond in a professional, businesslike manner.
  • Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build relationships and operate in an environment of ambiguity.
  • Ability to build and lead a best in class retail team.
  • Strong results-orientation and commitment to quality, performance and deliverables.

If you are interested in building global challenger brands, scaling a business, and working in a values-driven environment, we want to hear from you!</p><p><b>The Opportunity</b></p><p>Reporting to the Senior Manager, HRIS, the HCM Solution Manager will drive the implementation and ongoing optimization of our HR and Payroll systems, applications, and processes.This individual will function as a key liaison between HR, Payroll, IT and external software vendors and will have a deep technical understanding of each Workday module and their interconnections.</p><p>The HCM Solution Manager will lead the review, analyze, and evaluate HR and Payroll business processes, existing systems, user needs and technology opportunities to develop detailed requirement documents to support the review and analysis of recommendations. During implementation/upgrades/enhancements, they will lead requirement gathering and analysis, execute testing plans, create system documentation, training materials and communications to ensure that business requirements are met.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><p>• Maintain a deep understanding of each functional and technical area of the solution architecture of Workday</p><p>• Understand the processes, approvals and requirements for each functional workstream</p><p>• Understand each technical integration and overall enterprise architecture of how Workday fits within Canopy’s IT ecosystem</p><p>• Support the enterprise-wide HR Technology Roadmap and ongoing optimization of our HR systems</p><p>• Lead the implementation of new modules and integration of new groups into Canopy HR systems</p><p>• Support the overall program management of Canopy’s Workday implementation</p><p>• Execute all complex configuration request</p><p>• Oversee the design and implementation of system integrations and understand the overall IT architecture at Canopy Growth</p><p>• Lead the Workday system administration, business process configuration, implementation and testing of the HR systems; consisting of the following modules: Core HCM, Payroll, Time &amp; Absence, Benefits Recruitment, Learning as well as any additional modules as required</p><p>• Conduct system audits to identify process and data issues</p><p>• Proactively investigate upcoming vendor system enhancements</p><p>• Recommend and implement processes on reporting standards and offer technical solutions to gain process efficiency and improve data integrity</p><p>• Develop customized reports and dashboards, including preparing data for analyses for use in planning and present data in an effective and compelling way</p><p>• Collaborate with functional and technical system stakeholders to streamline and enhance reporting processes and promote user adoption</p><p>• Process mapping of HR and Payroll functions into the HR systems to ensure efficiencies, accurate reporting, and compliance.Develop standard operating procedures for critical HR processes</p><p>• Develop and deliver presentations to senior leadership and external stakeholders</p><p>• Provide client training as required</p><p>• Other duties as assigned</p><p><b>Experience</b></p><p>• Post-secondary education, preferably in HR and/or IT discipline</p><p>• 5-7 years specializing in HCM systems experience, configuring and supporting HR and Payroll technology systems, including end-to-end implementation, troubleshooting, debugging, testing and ongoing optimization</p><p>• Experience with Workday is required</p><p>• Workday Certification (Consultant or PRO) are considered a strong asset</p><p>• 2 to 4 years of Workday project implementation experience</p><p>• 1 to 2 years of process mapping experience</p><p>• Experience with Workday reporting</p><p>• Working knowledge of Workday integration tools and experience partnering with integration developers to execute integration design, development and testing</p><p>• Deep functional understanding of core HR and Payroll business terminology, processes, and practices</p><p>• Professionalism and excellent consultative approach in working directly with internal clients, delivering excellent customer service</p><p>• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros and complex formulas), and other MS applications (Visio, PowerPoint, Access and Word)</p><p>• Excellent analytical and technical skills with a high attention to detail; demonstrated strength in problem-solving and multi-tasking</p><p>• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, to build strong partnerships with key internal organizations and stakeholders</p><p>• Self-motivated and organized with a well-developed sense of time, projects, and priority management</p><p>• Strong customer service focus with demonstrated skills in supporting users to assist in addressing issues and concerns</p><p>• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn</p><p>• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team and work effectively with a geographically dispersed group</p><p><b>Other Details</b></p><p>This is a full-time position based out of Smiths Falls, Ottawa or Toronto, ON.</p><p>We appreciate the interest from all candidates, and promise to review all applications, but we will only be contacting those who best fit the requirements.
