Responsibilities include reviewing all plans, design, and oversight of staff hiring/training, genetics acquisitions, company goal setting, facility maintenance, compliance, and all things production. This role will manage the entire cultivation staff and report directly to ownership. This position will be compensated with salary, bonuses, and options (equity). Cultivation Operations: Oversee the creation and implementation of all cultivation operations, plans, policies, and procedures - including propagation, plant care, IPM, health and safety operations, harvest, etc. Create and maintain a transparent, open, and cooperative working environment in which all employees understand their duties and how individual duties affect company goals. Create and implement best practices for plant health, paying close attention to different cultivars specific needs. Dalwhinnie Farms is seeking dependable, team players who are self-starting individuals that are focused and results-driven.</p><p>Responsibilities and Expectations:</p><ul><li>Follows and completes cultivation plan per direction of the Cultivation Manager with strong ability to take direction</li></ul><ul><li>Responsibilities include but are not limited to caring for, pruning &amp; defoliating plants</li></ul><ul><li>Sanitizing rooms post harvest according to best practices</li></ul><ul><li>Learning and following company agricultural practices</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to maintain and utilize a clean uniform</li></ul><ul><li>Can work quickly and efficiently with a good attitude</li></ul><ul><li>Must work with a sense of urgency</li></ul><ul><li>Ensures the reputation of the cultivation facility by complying with legal requirements at the local and state levels</li></ul><ul><li>Assists state and local government regulators, auditors, and law enforcement agents with inspection visits and information requests.</li></ul><ul><li>Responsible for lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, as well as relying on full extension of the legs and arms to reach items and fulfill many duties.</li></ul><p>Other Employment Requirements</p><p>Must be at least 21 years of age &amp; have ability to pass a background check to obtain an MED badge.
