IN A NUTSHELL…

Reports directly to the Environmental Services Supervisor. Responsible for day-to-day custodial and disposal work scheduling at the cultivation site. Work successfully alongside other Department Team Members. Properly train associates on new Policies & Procedures.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Follow Parallel Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations
  • Safely uses and stores cleaning materials at all times, ensuring they are labeled correctly.
  • Disposing of cannabis waste properly.
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors by vacuuming rugs, washing walls and glass, emptying trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans.
  • Cleans & services restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
  • Restocks supplies.
  • Notifying Facilities Management of need for repairs.
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
  • Knowledge of proper PPE practices.
  • Knowledge of chemical use and safety data sheets are updated as new chemicals are being used.
  • Maintaining a daily task sheet to be collected and documented by the Team Leads.


EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING

  • 0-2 Years of experience in Custodial and/or Environmental Services duties preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work in an indoor growing environment which includes dry, hot, and humid conditions and extended exposure to Co2.
  • Requires the ability to stand, kneel, sit, or stoop for prolonged periods of time, with constant attention to detail for 10 hours per day.
  • Must be able to bend, lift and stoop continuously.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. unassisted and up to 80lbs assisted.

Activities may span the entire production cycle of the plant, from propagation through harvest. The ideal candidate will excel as a team and department leader, within a medical grade horticultural environment, where attention to detail is extremely important, and the work is fast paced, physically demanding, highly regulated, and deadline-driven. This role requires understanding the responsibilities, needs, and priorities of the cultivation team and respective sub-department. Duties are completed individually and in small teams, under the indirect supervision of Cultivation Supervisors and Managers. The position is structured around a required training program and expected function.</p><p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><p>Cultivation Technician III</p><p><b>All candidates must be able to work in an environment with a safety culture. The employee must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to maneuver between growing spaces that are 24 inches apart.
