Retail Store Manager

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the daily operations and profitability of the establishment according to set goals and business objectives. Daily operations include staff management, customer satisfaction, neat product presentation, inventory management and carrying out seasonal changes and promotional activities.


Job Duties

  • Greet and assist customers in a manner that models exemplary conduct to other staff.
  • Make sure all customer complaints are addressed and handled professionally, leaving the customer with a positive resolution.
  • Ensure that all health, safety and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met.
  • Maintain adequate stock through efficient inventory management.
  • Take inventory as scheduled and provide inventory reports.
  • Increase sales, expand markets, and promote business to meet given goals within provided guidelines.
  • Verify invoices against packaging slips and track all expenditures.
  • Make sure that merchandise is always presented neatly and that items are priced correctly.
  • Make sound business decisions when buying large quantities with volume based discounts.
  • Provide management with required sales, staff and other assigned productivity reports.
  • Hold staff accountable for cash box deficits.
  • Balance sales, print and record receipts as well as track revenue daily.
  • Make bank deposits daily and reconcile bank statements.
  • Contribute, coordinate and execute the process of ordering and receiving cannabis and accessories
  • Supervise all staff in the establishment and coordinate work to ensure productive operations at all hours.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Completion of high school and College/CEGEP/vocational or technical training.
  • Valid QCW/Sell Safe certification is mandatory to work in a Cannabis store in Alberta.
  • Minimum of 5 year work experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment.
  • Proven excellent customer service skills.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Skills to monitor and assess staff performance.
  • Basic office administration skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite Highly effective teamwork skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Politically and culturally sensitive.
  • Able to plan and organize work effectively and ensure its completion.
  • Well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.

market we move in to.</p><p><b>JOB SUMMARY</b></p><p>Continuum, a Cresco Labs company, is seeking a motivated and driven Account Managers to join our team and cover a key territory.</p><p>The Account Manager will be responsible for selling products and services, maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales and achievement of sales targets and individual sales KPIs.</p><p>The Account Manager will be representing a wide array of brands with a very robust, and growing product line.</p><p><b>CORE JOB DUTIES</b></p><p>• Maximize market penetration, dispensary shelf space, revenue, profitability and customer service according to annually assigned individual KPI targets</p><p>• Support dispensaries and implement tactics to increase store sales</p><p>• Ensure customer issues are attended to appropriately and efficiently</p><p>• Drive customer retention and maintain high level of customer service performance</p><p>• Present, promote and sell products / services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers</p><p>• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing / potential customers to meet their needs</p><p>• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships</p><p>• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling, store visits to increase network coverage</p><p>• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction while maintaining compliance with the company policies and procedures</p><p>• Achieve agreed upon individual KPIs including sales targets and outcomes within schedule</p><p>• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments</p><p>• Work closely with Finance on billing set up and invoicing</p><p>• Prepare timely and accurate customers' orders to meet customer requests, follow up on order fulfilment and communicate order status with customers and delivery dates</p><p>• Analyze the territory / market's potential, track sales and report on monthly sales outcomes</p><p>• Supply management with reports as requested on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services</p><p>• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends</p><p>• Keep the customer relationship management (CRM) system up to date</p><p>• Perform additional duties as assigned</p><p>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS</p><p>• Prior experience in the medical marijuana industry preferred</p><p>• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree a plus</p><p>• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills</p><p>• Must have a valid California driver's license</p><p>• Must have a reliable vehicle and insurance</p><p>• Proven ability to work effectively independently</p><p>• Proficient technical skills including use of MS Office, Google Drive, and Sales Force CRM software</p><p>• Ability to travel locally within assigned The Assistant Manager provides support to all Wellness Advisors and Lead Wellness Advisors which includes: scheduling, training, providing policy and procedure updates, keeping updated with industry news and product information.
