What you will do

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Pharmacy Manager to join our growing dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be driven, innovative, compassionate, believe in the goodness of people and cannabis, and enjoys the one team, one dream motto! The Pharmacy Manager oversees dispensing of all cannabis-based medications from our Cannabis Patient Centers (CPC). This position reports directly to District Manager of Retail.

Highlighted Responsibilities

• Prepares cannabis-based medications based on physician recommendations; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.; Performing one on one patient consultations to determine the best therapy in conjunction with the recommending provider.

• Works with and continuously trains Patient Care Coordinators (PCC) and health care professionals on the use of cannabis-based medicines. Dispenses cannabis-based medications based on formulary provided.

• Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.

• Completes dispensary operational requirements by organizing and directing PCC work flow, verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.

• Inventory rotation and inventory control.

• Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling patients on drug therapies;

• Precepts students from affiliated Schools of Pharmacy.

• Complies with state laws as regulated by the state medical cannabis program, maintaining records for controlled substances; removing outdated and damaged drugs from the dispensary inventory; supervising the work results of support personnel; maintaining current pharmacist registration; Protects patients and technicians by adhering to infection-control protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Maintains pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies; Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Pharmacist Skills and Qualifications:Analyzing Information, Administering Medication, Judgment, Verbal Communication, Pharmacology, Managing Processes, Legal Compliance, Productivity, Quality Focus, Attention to Detail.

• Must be willing to work weekend days.

• Management experience preferred.

• Must be licensed pharmacist in good standing with State of Minnesota.

• Preferred experience in both clinical and retail settings.

• Preferred additional training in CBM.

Facilitating guest merchandise returns, issuing account credits, and ensuring guest retention by performing any reasonable accommodation to provide high-quality customer service</p><p>• Ensures guest merchandise returns do not negatively impact other guests or employee morale</p><p>• Provides outstanding, accurate customer service to guests by phone, answers phone with scripted greeting, appropriately answers or directs patient questions and concerns; Ensures all items are correctly priced in POS system and have accurate price tags displayed on sales floor</p><p>• Abides by product handling procedures, including safety and health policies, auditing inventory, stocking, product storage, and maintaining packaging and labeling standards; Ensuring security and health standards are met at all times</p><p>• Ensures cleanliness and organization of store, overseeing the stocking of retail items and supplies, sweeping and mopping, and restroom sanitization</p><p>• Ensures cleanliness and organization of retail storage areas, office and store supplies, and any production areas of facility</p><p>• Oversees the quality and rotation of marijuana sample jars and display flowers; Ensuring marijuana products are merchandised and sold according to TGS quality standards</p><p>• Acts as a liaison between the sales floor, processing staff, and Management, communicating vital information about inventory, staffing, and sales volume; Acts as an information filter, ensuring appropriate use of the Chain of Command;</p><p>• Responsible for actively listening, establishing rapport with staff and guests, resolving conflicts, and overall relationship building with staff, Management, and guests</p><p>• Leads and inspires staff to work as part of a team to ensure sales, guest-satisfaction, and compliance goals are met by designated timelines</p><p>• Adheres to The Green Solution security protocol and promotes safety for self, guests and coworkers</p><p>• Attends all meetings, as scheduled</p><p>• Fulfills job duties of any retail associate or support position, as needed, to compensate for staffing shortages, meal or break times, higher than normal sales volume, or to support general operations</p><p>• All other job duties as assigned</p><p>Qualifications Education</p><p>• High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required</p><p>• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred Training</p><p>• Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of The Department; Colorado State Department of Health, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and TGS Management</p><p>Required Skills &amp; Experience</p><p>• Excellent computer, mathematical, language and reasoning skills</p><p>• Bilingual skills a plus</p><p>• Retail, operations and/or sales experience</p><p>Preferred Skills &amp; Experience</p><p>• Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, The Department regulations, and Colorado State Department of Health regulations requirements; previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in Colorado licensed facilities</p><p>Other Requirements Physical Requirements</p><p>• Must be able to individually lift up to 25 lbs.</p><p>• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach and lift for long periods of time Reasonable accommodation(s) may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions NT 9/21/2016 Vice President of Human Resources Job Description Page 3</p><p>Work Requirements</p><p>• Must be able to work in a retail environment with moderate to loud noise level</p><p>• Must be able to work in retail, manufacturing, or production facilities with moderate to loud noise level and changing working conditions.
