Key Responsibilities

• PRODUCT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT AND INNOVATION: Assess sales and consumer trends to inform commercial recommendations on product portfolio optimizations, rationalization, and new product innovation recommendations.

• Responsible for contributing to new product definition (including pricing) and development of GTM commercial launch plans and assets for patients/consumers.

• MARKET AND CONSUMER TRENDS: Maintain a thorough knowledge of cannabis industry, brand competitive set, category trends and consumer segments.

• Leverages and collects consumer and patient data to analyze and summarize insights and trends. Thought leader internally on consumer motivations and what drives them to purchase and engage with our brands and products.

• GLOBAL INTEGRATION: Lead development of marketing materials to support global product launches and ongoing engagement across international markets.

• Contribute to the global strategy for Beacon Medical branded products including portfolio, content development, promotion, and partnerships.

• Work closely with Canadian colleagues and Global VIVO market leaders (Australia & EU) to ensure each region’s stakeholder engagement and marketing strategy aligns with corporate vision.

• MARKETING STRATEGY AND ACTIVATION: Collaborate in the creation of marketing plans, to support forecasted sales volumes (by region and channel) with data supported strategy and tactical execution plans laddering up to overall VIVO Commercial strategy.

• Maintain and support the growth of our brands by identifying, executing, and optimizing quarterly channels plans, partnership, acquisition, and outreach tactics.

• Propose ongoing strategic sales and marketing promotions, including pricing evaluations and recommendations.

• Closely collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience colleagues to develop growth strategies and a roadmap for acquisition, retention, and reactivation of consumers/patients with a strong focus on ROI.

• DIGITAL & SOCIAL STRATEGY: Contribute to digital and social strategy and execution for the Canna Farms medical ecommerce marketplace, email marketing, brand social channels, brand websites, digital trade assets, digital acquisition, and referral programs.

• Take a data-driven approach to measure efficacy of digital channels to grow and optimize them effectively

• CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION: Communicate proactively with Sales, Operations, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, Product Development to facilitate product commercialization of both new and existing products.

• RELATIONSHIP BUILDING AND LEVERAGING: Build relationships with strategic partners, businesses and associations that can influence growth and preference for VIVO brands. Support sales in their relationships with key retailers, clinics, and physicians.

• BUDGET OWNERSHIP: Meet marketing financial objectives; collaborate on annual budget creation; execute to plan and daily management of expenditures; analyze variances; initiate corrective actions as needed.

• MARKETING LEADERSHIP & AGENCY MANAGEMENT: Manage external partner agencies, consultants, freelancers, and other suppliers, who provide marketing, strategy, or digital services to VIVO, ensuring value for money and inspiring them to create outstanding execution of marketing programs to drive results through detailed KPIs.

• PROBLEM SOLVING: Demonstrate an ongoing ability to determine specific simplified actions to keep solving issues & take advantage of opportunities – works well in a team environment

• CANNABIS REGULATIONS AND COMPLIANCE: Become familiar on Cannabis Regulations in Canada and how products are produced, distributed, and sold in Canada, additionally ensure a clear understanding of the regulatory environment and framework and work closely with the Quality Assurance and Legal departments to ensure full compliance

Qualifications and Skills

Academic/Educational Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree/diploma in business administration, marketing, or relevant field

• 5+ years of experience in marketing and brand management; new product launch experience required

• Several years of experience and success in digital project ownership and execution required

• 2+ years of experience in cannabis industry as asset (pharmaceutical, beverage-alcohol, CPG, cosmetics, food, health, and beauty industries also considered)

Required Skills/Experience/Knowledge

• Project management and product management – prior commercial launch experience required

Galenas standards before being approved to be sold to customers Understand local and state regulations as they relate to post-harvest team, processes, and products Validate testing for all products to be sold Update sales menu as needed to verify and track inventory, including approving sold goods and adjusting menu to dictate remaining product available for sale Inventory of all goods to confirm sales menu accuracy Clean, organize, and maintain all areas of the post-harvest process including Dry Room, Packaging Room, Trimming Room, Twister Room, etc.</p><p>Lead post-harvest team through all product processes including – but not limited to – training and follow-up on bucking, trimming, weighing, packaging, transport, storage, delivery, etc.</p><p>Use of computer and METRC software to communicate with State, track inventory, and move product through life cycle until point-of-sale transfer Move, organize, and file products throughout lifecycle of tag, including flower to shake to trim, etc.</p><p>Compile bulk material for processing at the discretion of the Director of Sales and/or the General Manager Create delivery schedule and coordination of when/where/who to ensure products are delivered in a timely manner Communicate with necessary third parties – such as secure transporters, processors, retail managers, etc.</p><p>– to efficiently manage logistics Create retail and processing labels for shipments and consumer information Work with HR, Sales, Cultivation, Marketing, and other departments as needed to ensure team has necessary equipment, direction, tasks, and goals Attend management training and meetings as needed, communicating, and implementing, necessary topics/processes to team Skills Proven ability in post-harvest tasks, including (but not limited to): drying, bucking, hand-trimming, machine-trimming, quality-control, packaging, cleaning, sanitizing, and waste disposal Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to use computer-related technology such as METRC Inventory Tracking Software, Zebra Label Maker, Microsoft Office, etc.</p><p>Initiative to learn and train others on post-harvest techniques Successful at
