The position will work closely with the Group Controller to first design a costing model and then take the lead on implementation. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING CORE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Group Controller in day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations of the Accounting/Finance Department. Reconcile inventory and prepare overhead allocation entries. Prepare and analyze the monthly budget/forecast to actual variance reports per entity and department. Assist in creating and maintaining cost centers.

Assist in the budgeting process and preparation of financial reports such as financial statements.

Assist in resolving complex accounting issues or other related issues. Assist in developing more effective processes in the Accounting/Finance department. Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.

Analyzing data collected and recording results

Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost

Analyzing actual cultivation/processing/manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs

Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures

Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports

Making estimates of new and proposed product costs
