POSITION SUMMARY

This position is ideal for individuals seeking broad exposure to organic growth strategy development, financial analysis, mergers & acquisition support, and the opportunity to learn about the breadth and depth of IFH's platform. The strategy team works with individuals across the firm including those in executive management, product management, business development, operations, legal, finance, and technology. The candidate will need to work both independently, as well as part of a team. The analyst's responsibilities will include building models, forecasting, working on valuations across different growth opportunities, deep industry research, identifying and analyzing industry trends, and presenting strategic recommendations and assisting the EVP/Chief Strategy Officer.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES

  • Assists with merger & acquisition projects.
  • Assists with project modeling, forecasting, financial analysis and valuations.
  • Conducts deep industry research and assists in identifying industry trends and strategies for growth.
  • Prepares presentations with accuracy.
  • Identify key investment merits and risk/mitigants.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adheres specifically to all IFH & Bank policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations and laws.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferably with a focus in Finance as well as a strong GPA


Required Knowledge:

  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office (i.e. PowerPoint) applications and sourcing data from the internet and various technology publications
  • Strong understanding of excel and financial modeling capability


Required Experience:

2-4 years' experience in a field related to management consulting and/or financial services


Required Skills:

  • Excellent writing and communications skills and ability to work as a member of a fast-paced team
  • Self-starter, must be organized and able to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and multi-task responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Effective time management, responsive and proactive

Physical Demands/Work Environment Requirements:
