Cultivation Technician

Commercial Cannabis Cultivation Technician


Pay: $18 - $20 per hour


Schedule:

  • 25 – 35 hours per week
  • Occasional weekend shifts required


Work Location: One location


Be able to complete a variety of plant care independently including, but not limited to:


  • Assist with de-leafing, harvesting, cleaning, transporting plants, and basic handy work when needed
  • Monitor various aspects of plant health including signs of disease or infestation and communicate any issues to the cultivation management team
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to mitigate potential pest problems and facilitate an organized and efficient workflow
  • Keep all equipment clean and sanitized
  • Identify and report irregularities and/or variances from Standard Operating Procedures to management
  • Regularly check and interact on Greenshift’s employee app to best communicate with the team about all information pertinent to specific areas of cultivation
  • Be willing to wear many hats – assist where help is needed
  • Coordinate plant schedules and tasks with management team
  • Wear provided uniform at all times unless directly instructed otherwise
  • Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Carefully follow directions as provided by the Chief of Cultivation


Job Qualifications:


Commercial or Residential Cannabis Experience Prefered.


  • Must be 21+, with a valid State ID, and able to pass additional background screening.
  • High School Diploma or greater required
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of botany, horticulture, and agriculture preferrred
  • Knowledge of production tools and equipment
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong problem solving/communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Maintain a culture of professionalism
  • Must be hard working, responsible, and trustworthy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work on your feet for 8+ hours
