CannaOne Internship Job Description

CannaOne interns will participate in the creation of content for our new publication. Our publication is in print and online.

Interns must be able to commit a minimum of eight hours a week to the internship. Our brand is CannaOne but we have the following subdivisions : Health+Beauty, Cultivation, Business, Investment, Healthcare, Women Grow, and Food+Beverage.

Interns will be assigned to at least one of these subdivisions of CannaOne to create content for our publication. The publication will be released six times throughout the year (every other month).

Interns will be assigned to their subdivision based on interest and experience. In addition, interns who have social media experience and interest will also be considered for social media positions / support for our six social media platforms.

Interns will also be involved in assisting with our Brand Showcase projects. This project will require reaching out to potential brand partners and calling existing partner brands to solicit samples for show attendee boxes.

This is an unpaid internship. However, we would love our interns to grow with us. As we grow, we will have stipend opportunities, as well as internal opportunities within our company as they arise.

As an intern, you will have exposure to these positions before external candidates.

Desired Qualifications for our interns :

Minimum one year of writing experience (college / university publication experience is a plus)

Acquiring or acquired a degree in one of these fields of study : English, Journalism, Marketing, or Business (or a field similar).

Able to commit a minimum of eight hours a week to an internship

Knowledgeable and passionate about the Cannabis industry

Ability to meet deadlines

Ability to work independently and remotely

Collaborates well with others on group assignments / tasks

Social Media knowledge is a huge plus (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube)

Active portfolio of writing samples / work is a huge plus but not required

This person will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day cultivation activities and adjusting workflow and procedures in order to increase yields, efficiency and overall performance.</p><p>The Cultivation Manager will lead and manage employees, ensuring that production needs are met, things are in full compliance with all state and local regulations, and any procedural problems are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.</p><p><b>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities :</b></p><p>• Oversee proper techniques related to cultivation; transplanting, pruning, defoliation, watering, feeding, and harvesting.</p><p>• Manage plant germination and propagation through cloning efforts.</p><p>• Develop and adhere to cultivation schedules to ensure plants are healthy and prepared for the flower process.</p><p>• Enforce adherence to fertilization, irrigation, and feed schedules.</p><p>• Ensure plants are receiving proper illumination, irrigation, nutrients, pruning, pest and disease control.</p><p>• Schedule harvest of plants based on cultivation schedule and plant maturation.</p><p>• Ensure that the product is compliant with all relevant regulations and meets all standards established by the state.</p><p>• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and traceability of plants, including plant counts, both physically and in METRC, and correcting plant inventory discrepancies immediately.</p><p>• Develop and update SOPs for cultivation and post-harvest processes, enforcing strict adherence throughout the facility.</p><p>• Assist with calculating production yields and determining areas of improvement for each harvest.</p><p>• Facilitate and oversee inspections using inventory and compliance audits.</p><p>• Conduct investigations when necessary - if inventory does not match production and transfer records.</p><p>• Monitor stock of cultivation supplies and equipment and work with Procurement to order supplies.</p><p>• Prepare reports summarizing harvest yields and conditions.</p><p>• Ensure accuracy of inventory.</p><p>• Oversee tracking compliance in METRC.</p><p>• Stay current with the latest grow solutions and technology.
