Team Leads are critical in supporting the successful execution of store operations, and a leader in the development of our people and our guest experience. In partnership with the retail leadership team you will be accountable for leading and supervising daily operations and achieving business goals. You will set the tone for the teams by demonstrating expert knowledge, provide motivating and inspiring leadership, deliver first-class guest experience, driving sales results and uphold regulation compliance.

WHAT YOU DO

RESPONSIBLITIES

· Exemplify our brand Mission and Values in everyday interaction with store guest and fellow team members.

· Continually promote our brand and be a positive representative of cannabis industry.

· Lead and validate that the store team is creating an engaging and welcoming environment within the store and cultivating meaningful relationships through trust and rapport in order drive return business.

· Deliver personalized experience to all our guests and provide relevant education. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of cannabis strains, consumption methods, products and responsible use, and ensuring our guests gets the right product that match their needs and wants.

· In partnership with the leadership team support in elevating the atmosphere and experience for team members and guests while upholding Federal and Provincial compliance to the highest standard.

· Responsible for ensuring all employees are operating in accordance with Health Canada and provincial regulations, and upholding the company’s standard operating procedures (SOPs)

· Lead by example in providing first-class guest experiences and service standard. Support in training and developing our retail teams to increase profitability.

· Achieve and surpass sales targets as set by the leadership team, and communicate opportunities and observations related to the business.

· Support the leadership in BOH responsibilities including cash and inventory management, store cleanliness and organization.

· Act as a socially responsible vendor of cannabis in the communities we conduct our business in by providing education, expertise, passion and promoting responsible adult cannabis use.

· Ensure efficiency and accuracy in all cash desk management operations that uphold our loss prevention, provincial and federal standards including the performance of Cash Drops and End of Day Reporting.

· Follow all security guidelines set forth by the Retail Leadership Team

· Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, including financial summaries and internal employee materials.

· Creates a supportive environment to inspire and elevate team members through effective goal setting, performance evaluations, development of the store team, provide formal/informal training and deliver timely feedback and observations.
