Cannabis GROW Assistant Manager
The Cultivation Assitant Manager operates the company s cultivation facility in the state. In addition to managing the smooth operation of this business unit, the Cultivation Assitant Manager is the company s local expert on cultivation. Reporting to the Regional Director, s/he ensures that the cannabis produced meets the company s expectations of quantity and quality and meets and exceeds the requirements set forth in regulations and law.

Essential Functions: Leadership and management

  • Model, foster, and sustain a culture of excellence and inclusivity; holding self and others accountable for individual and team development that align with the needs of the business.
  • Create and maintain a transparent, open, and cooperative working environment in which all employees understand their responsibilities and accountabilities, the responsibilities and accountabilities of their peers, and how these relate to and affect the company s goals.
  • Ensure that cultivation facilities are operated in a manner consistent with the company s culture and values, above and beyond what is required by law and regulations.

  • Ensure that all employees are properly trained in Cure SOPs
  • Line management
  • For Cultivation Manager and DTCP manager:
  • Schedule shifts and paid time off (PTO)
  • Train staff on company cultivation and harvest SOPs

  • Conduct periodic performance reviews
  • Measure individual and team metrics
  • Take any corrective actions needed
  • As the company s resident expert on the technical aspects of cannabis cultivation,
  • Set the propagation schedule and ensure it is adhered to
  • Set the harvest schedule and ensure it is adhered to
  • Participate in cloning and harvest, as needed
  • Maintain all production records, and ensure their accuracy, including quantities and types of cannabis harvested, materials consumed, integrated pest management practices employed, etc.
  • Business results
  • Actively solicit feedback from retail and processing managers, and wholesale sales lead, to stay current with trends and demand in the market.
  • Lead all cultivation research and development projects, in accordance with plans agreed upon with the Director of Cultivation.
  • Verify that all finished products leaving the facility meet or exceed Cure s standards
  • Accountable for costs, production levels, hitting schedule
  • Ensure that operations do not exceed budget

Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and other repetitive motions.
  • The employee is frequently is required to stand for long periods of time, use hands for detailed work.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 75 pounds (or more with assistance).
  • Strong odors and varying room temperatures will occur on a daily basis.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days will vary due to business needs. Some holidays and overtime maybe required.
