Inventory and Logistics Supervisor

Bold Growth Inc. is looking for a full-time Inventory & Logistics Supervisor. The Inventory & Logistics Supervisor is a key position in ensuring smooth communication between Sales and the Inventory and Logistics team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five years of experience working in a related field (inventory management, logistics, operations management, shipping & receiving, manufacturing) and/or working with relevant systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software and/or manufacturing industry experience working under GPP (Good Production Practices)/GDP (Good Documentation Practices). Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in an organized and professional manner.

The Inventory & Logistics Supervisor will directly report to the Operations and Maintenance Manager with two BOLD staff reporting directly to this position. This person will also liaise between Manufacturing and Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Inventory and Logistics Team
  • Adhere to BOLD standard operating procedures
  • Manage inventory tracking system (Cropsify) to record deliveries, shipments, purchase orders and stock levels
  • Establish minimum re-order quantities and initiate re-ordering with vendors
  • Evaluate deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures
  • Manage schedules of employees, casing runs, deliveries and shipments to optimize operations
  • Direct movement of inventory between Secure Storage Room (SSR), Shipping & Receiving and Sales
  • Analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages
  • Develop business relationships with suppliers and clients
  • Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics
  • Report on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management
  • Assist with developing, implementing and executing standardized practices for transfer of material between work areas and SSR, order processing & fulfillment and Shipping & Receiving of cannabis
  • Attend and participate in meetings as required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

  • CTLS (Cannabis Tracking and Licensing System) clearance considered an asset
  • GPP or GMP experience considered an asset
  • 5 + years’ experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning system
  • 5 + years’ experience working in shipping & receiving and/or logistics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
