The Senior Chemist will use various analytical techniques confirming data integrity and ensuring all finished products maintain their attributes of identity, strength, quality, and purity. The Senior Chemist will be responsible for ensuring a safe workflow in the lab while executing multiple tasks; analytical analyses, experimental designs, and the tracking and trending of data.</p><p>Duties And Responsibilities Or (Essential Functions)</p><p>• Performs in-process and finished product analyses for multiple departments (Cultivation, Plant Processing, and R&amp;D) in support of product development, process improvement, and product launch.</p><p>• Trains junior chemists on analytical equipment (HPLC, GC-HS, analytical balances), testing methods, equipment software, laboratory processes/paperwork, and overall industry information.</p><p>• Schedules sample testing in the lab to support finished product release and product development.</p><p>• Manages the general operations of the lab including laboratory instrumentation ensuring all appropriate equipment are on a preventative maintenance and calibration schedules.
