Principle Objective:

The Product Manager is instrumental in developing the next generation of product and services across our hemp and cannabis testing portfolio. The Product Manager possesses business acumen, sophisticated analytic thinking, and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members at all levels, including executive leadership.

Major Job Duties and Responsibility:

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the lab, RA/QA, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer needs are met. The Product Manager also ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

The Product Manager is expected to:

· Define the product roadmap based on the company’s vision as well as customer and industry insights

· Capable of analyzing customer feedback and providing strategic recommendations

· Deliver Marketing and/or Product Requirement Docs with prioritized products and/or services

· Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals

· Present data in concise and coherent presentations to a large group of stakeholders

· Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings

· Be an expert with respect to the competition

Requirements:

· Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Product Manager

· Expertise in phase-gate product development methodology and managing complex projects with many dependencies, stakeholders and regulators

· Demonstrated proficiency with project planning, research, and analysis

· Demonstrated success defining and launching products or services

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions consistent with business objectives

· Technical background with experience in science, healthcare or pharma, preferred

· Excellent teamwork skills

· Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining flexibility and performing at a high level when faced with time constraints

Education/Training:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant degree required

· Certification in Product or Project Management, preferred

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
