This role will include leadership, project management, collaboration, cross-functional support and creativity. The Communications Manager will drive the brand message through multiple channels while fostering media and influencer relationships.

• Develop, lead and execute PESO strategy for all activations alongside the Marketing team.

• Build and foster media relationships throughout national and local outlets.

• Brainstorm, conceptualize and write newsworthy PR moments. Leveraging media relationships throughout the process.

• Lead PR development and distribution during campaigns to drive brand awareness.

• Understand and engage with the appropriate outlets that influence local and national campaigns.

• Work with the Marketing team to develop and foster influencer relationships and leverage moments to enhance JARS message.

• Leverage resources to push branded content and stories to consumers.

• Stay in-tune with the latest media and communications trends, outlets, products and channels.

Requirements

A successful candidate will have:

· 3-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing or related field.

· Well-rounded portfolio of innovative work in media coverage.

· Experience leading a team or department.

· Experience driving brand communications nationally and locally.

· Demonstrable knowledge of new age trends, marketing and media channels.

· Knowledge of photography and videography is a plus

The role of the field team is to ensure that each of our franchise stores provide best in class operations and guest experience while maintaining brand standards across all Ontario locations. The Field Manager will be a key member of the retail team, helping to drive store performance through ongoing coaching and support to the franchise store teams and ongoing support to our development partners. This position will leverage monthly store visits to ensure that the brand vision, values and objectives are translated successfully to our guests, while building and rolling out strategic programs to support store growth.</p><p>The successful candidate is an excellent relationship builder. They have strong communication skills and are able to navigate complex organizations and relationships.
