The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Director, Treasury & Insurance this person will play a key role in the Company s Treasury functions. This multi-faceted role will be involved in various Treasury related activities such as cashflow forecasting, global cash and foreign exchange management, investment portfolio management, debt management and covenant monitoring, and senior management and board reporting. This position will perform a variety of business tasks that require independent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality. Ideal candidates will be proactive, hands-on, and independent problem-solvers who can work as a team with others. Flexibility and discretion are key. Highly effective communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills are critical to the position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation and maintenance of short, medium, and long-term cash forecasts to support liquidity analysis

• Effectively partner with external relationship banks, capital market participants, and foreign exchange brokers, consultants and advisors to successfully execute treasury operations and strategy

• Develop processes within our treasury management system

• Oversee the tracking /updating of bank accounts, signatories and resolutions

• Establish treasury related data analytics, KPI s, metrics, dashboards, etc. to support strategic decision making

• Report to management on the activities of the Investment Managers, including the compliance with their mandates, the investment performance of assets managed by each Investment Manager and the performance of the portfolio as a whole

• Administer debt covenants compliance, assist in annual credit rating review and participate in debt issuances

• Oversee the preparation and coordination of documents for Letters of Credit or Surety Bonds as required by operations

• Oversee Purchasing and Travel & Entertainment credit card programs

• Manage and mentor Treasury Analysts; Direct reports include Senior Treasury Analyst and Treasury Analyst

• Other duties as assigned

Experience

• Accounting (CPA) or Treasury (CTP) designation

• Undergraduate degree required with 7+ years Treasury experience with focus on cash management

• Knowledge of treasury systems (i.e. treasury workstations, bank web portals)

• Knowledge and experience with financial planning and analysis, liquidity/cash management, foreign exchange, debt and equity capital markets

• Balance attention to detail with swift execution

• Review legal agreements or contracts for Treasury impacts

• Motivation and initiative to take ownership of projects, drive results, and meet tight deadlines

• Comfortable operating in a high-pressure environment with multiple demands on time and resources; ability to readily embrace change

• Sharp, patient team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently

• Willingness to seek out new learning opportunities and take on new tasks/responsibilities as assigned

• Effective communication skills, including an ability to both listen and articulate concepts to different audiences, resulting in action-oriented outcomes
