Job Purpose:

The Client Relations Specialist will be responsible for customer relations, accounting and operations support. This position will also interface with multiple departments and customers. This role will primarily focus on lab operations support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and route calls to the appropriate party.
  • Greet incoming visits and escort to appropriate areas.
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
  • Deliver deposit checks to accounting.
  • Create and process customer invoices.
  • Process credit card payments in Blackstone.
  • Coordinate with clients on payment processing of sample orders.
  • Receive all incoming work from internal and external clients and process work orders through the company Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Prepare and manage shipments with partner labs.
  • Special projects and errands as needed, including transportation of packages to local shipping companies.
  • Responsible for shipping and receiving of orders and supplies, which includes light lifting duty (packages up to 40 lbs)
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety guidelines for a lab environment.
  • Other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work, problem solve, and communicate with multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced deadline environment while successfully managing multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong understanding of standard laboratory protocol.
  • Ability to maintain an incredibly high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong agility, engagement, and flexibility in an ever-changing environment.
  • Working knowledge of logging, organizing, and analyzing data.

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Higher level degree preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience working within a lab environment.
  • 1+ years of experience in sample collection and logging within a lab environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Quickbooks experience a plus.
  • Organizes and handles multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Completes work assignments within time and quality constraints
  • Exposure to the cannabis industry desired.

Drive times will vary depending on location.Coordinate with the business development manager and client services representative to arrange and execute sampling at GPs.Collect samples of cannabis products at client sites in accordance with PA state regulations and MCR PA standard operating procedures.Follow the aseptic technique to avoid contamination of samples being collected.Weigh samples with a balance and accurately record sample weights.Communicate and coordinate sampling activities with the business development manager and client services representative.Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and building relationships.Maintain sampling supplies.Work directly with our contracted transportation agents.
