Software Engineer (Front End - React)

Overview

As a Front End Engineer at Weedmaps, you’ll use your knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to implement responsive user interfaces for our web applications. We leverage modern tooling such as React, ES6, and CSS-in-JS to deliver user experiences that work well across all screen sizes. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA to plan, build, test and deploy new features in an agile environment.

• Minimum 2 years of development experience at startup / mid-sized companies

• Effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to give and receive constructive feedback

• Experience building single-page applications in a team environment

• Understanding of REST API's and how to consume them

• Possess a high level of attention to detail and aesthetic sensibilities

• Knowledge of modern browser technologies, cross-browser compatibility issues, and client-side performance considerations
