A Glimpse into Your Day -

Essential Functions:

  • Upholds all policies, procedures and security protocols by adhering to the Operations Policy Guide, Employee Manual and all other published materials and as the Store Manager presents them;
  • Assists the Store Manager in supporting the needs of Customer Care Consultants and the Inventory Manager, which includes but is not limited to scheduling, training, providing policy and procedure updates and education on new product information;
  • Assists in monitoring current inventories on a daily basis and manages levels accordingly;
  • Exemplifies and conveys overall trustworthiness in the eyes of the team, the customers and the vendors;
  • Assists in ensuring the overall safety and security of customers, team, cash, and inventory;
  • Complies and assists with cycle counts, incident reporting and monthly inventory reconciliation;
  • Provides Store Manager coverage and performs duties and/or functions whenever GM is scheduled off or during break times;
  • Processes transactions through a POS (point-of-sale) system and other computerized technology systems with expert knowledge of each platform.

Business Operations:

  • Assists Retail Store Manager in day-to-day operations;
  • Maintains an active presence on the sales floor and demonstrates a strong understanding of sales through offering team support and guidance;
  • Creates effective solutions to increase sales, including creation, implementation and evaluation of promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs;
  • Supports Store Manager in ensuring marketing changes are executed when needed, including but limited to; in-store signage, menus and promotional materials;
  • Complies with State and Federal laws and regulations as they continue to evolve;
  • Communicates and uses problem solving skills to manage all incidents with impact to business, asset or brand protection to Store Manager;
  • Assists in the oversight of inventory receiving, inventory sold, requests and shipments as directed by Store Manager.

Team Operations:

  • Leads the team by providing ongoing training and coaching to enhance the workplace environment;
  • Assists in scheduling of team members including addressing staff requests;
  • Engages alongside the team in performing all tasks to showcase leading by example;
  • Monitors the sales floor for a variety of factors including but not limited to flow, staffing needs, quality of service, inventory changes, atmosphere, and security;
  • Fulfills job duties of any associate, as needed, to compensate for staffing shortages, meal or break times, higher than normal sales volume, or to support general operations;
  • Identifies talent, interviews candidates and hires employees; assists in on-boarding new employees;
  • Delivers reviews and feedback to team members; provides action plans when needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age;
  • Must pass background check (No felony convictions within the last 10 years per state law) and reference checks;
  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required;
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Must have flexibility with work schedule.

Proven Skills and Abilities Desired:
