PSI Labs is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Analytical Chemist. The Analytical Chemist will work closely with the Lead Chemist to execute cannabis sample testing and analysis. This role involves testing knowledge using LCMS/MS, GCMS/FID, and ICPMS.

The ideal candidate has experience with Shimadzu equipment and software, method validation, along with previous experience in an ISO 17025 environment.

Our Analytical Chemist will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist Lead Chemist in method development.
  • Support validation efforts by conducting analytical experiments at the direction of the Lead Chemist.
  • Ensure that all work is performed and documented in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements in California.
  • Must be able to obtain traceable, reproducible, and reliable results with limited supervision.
  • Perform calibration and routine maintenance of analytical instruments.
  • Developing new methods not currently online at the laboratory and write standard operating procedures for them in conjunction with state regulations.
  • Assists in maintaining/developing SOPs and documentation required for compliance
  • Assists in maintaining the laboratory for ISO accreditation standards, GLP, and future audits
