JOB SUMMARY* The position's principal responsibilities focus on demonstrating proficiency in general and moderately complex administrative functions of a unit, including serving as a resource on issues, policies and procedures, supporting human resource functions, maintaining inventory or facilities, entering fiscal transactions, and contributing to the development of unit systems and processes.

This position also serves as the liaison and coordinator for upper administration.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide flexible administrative support to enhance productivity and exceed facility and business needs.

• Internal communication with staff.

• Maintain SOPs for all cultivation and production departments.

• Manage petty cash fund.

• Manage security system, alarm codes, and key fobs for employees.

• Planning and creating team building events in collaboration with HR and Operations Director.

• Set goals and meet deadlines.

• Facilitate and manage front office deliveries.

• Calendar management for Operations Director and Cultivation Managers.

• Travel planning for management, as needed.

• Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work.

• Work collectively and respectfully with other team members

• Accurately and promptly maintain records and reports.

• Assist in data entry of employee records and ensure that they are properly completed.

• Assist with new hire onboarding.

• Managing time and attendance for employees under direction of HR and management.

• Track employees annual training requirements and plan meetings accordingly.

• Perform purchasing functions in accordance with replenishment requirements.

• Purchase equipment, materials and supplies for the facility upon director from management and staff.

• Expedite and follow up with suppliers to schedule deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and handle damages and returns.

• Input purchase orders and maintain close communication and follow accounting and finance processes as they relate to purchasing.

• Additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of experience related to office management, employee relations, and finance.

• Passion to assist employees.

• Human Resources background is a plus.

• Calendaring and schedule management skills.

• Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.

• Highly organized and capable of working independently under pressure and meeting deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and willingness to learn other programs, as necessary.

• Demonstrated competence in project management.

• Ability to prepare correspondence and administrative reports

• Ability communicate professionally and effectively in both written and spoken form.

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.

• At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

• If necessary, ability to work 7 days per week and to be flexible with schedule.

• Environmental requirements and exposure:

• Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables

EDUCATION

• Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required.

The Assistant Manager has supervisory responsibilities over inventory department managers and hourly positions.</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities</p><p>• Focus on back of house operations, including but not limited to, METRC compliance, training and POS inventory functions;</p><p>• Conduct monthly inventory audits and delivers on inventory variance goals;</p><p>• Oversee all vendor delivery intake, returns, damaged product and cannabis waste procedures;</p><p>• Ensure menu and product photo accuracy in-store and online;</p><p>• Partner with General Manager to draft employee work schedules and develop, document and implement streamlined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);</p><p>• Collaborate with General Manager to hire and staff the dispensary and recruit a diverse set of skills among candidates;</p><p>• Ensure facility compliance with all cannabis state-specific regulations and laws, as well as execute and enforce compliance efforts and requirements</p><p>• Assume all duties of a key-holding employee with opening and closing procedures and supervision of staff and retail processes</p><p>• Review and receive all deliveries with diligence and accuracy and in accordance with company policies and state regulations.</p><p>• Track and evaluate various inventory metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and communicate performance to the General Manager and associates</p><p>• Assist with training of staff according to company guidelines.</p><p>• Prepare and effectively lead Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) inspectors and law enforcement through announced and unannounced inspections.</p><p>• Ensure that proper records are kept for all necessary documents: delivery and inventory manifests, nightly and monthly inventory counts, logbooks, inventory adjustments and destruction reports</p><p>• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time</p><p>Requirements and Qualifications</p><p>• Bachelor Degree specializing in operations or business administration preferred or equivalent work experience</p><p>• 1-3 years of retail management experience</p><p>• 1+ years of management experience</p><p>• Must have prior experience working in a high-volume setting</p><p>• Cannabis or other highly-regulated industry experience strongly preferred</p><p>• Training experience, a plus</p><p>• Knowledge of state specific cannabis laws and regulatory compliance, preferred</p><p>• Must be highly computer-literate</p><p>• Must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as a friendly and outgoing personality</p><p>• Treats people with respect, keeps commitments, inspires trust and motivates others, works with integrity and ethics, upholds organizational standards</p><p>• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays and to be 'on call'</p><p>• * Observes and adheres to regulatory, safety and security procedures</p><p>Must be at least 21 years of age</p><p>• Must pass any and all required background checks and be able to obtain a CCC registered agent license</p><p>• Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry</p><p>• Must have excellent organization and time management skills</p><p><b>• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectivelyJob Type:</b></p><p>Full-time</p><p><b>Pay:</b></p><p>$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year</p><p><b>Benefits:</b></p><p>Dental insurance</p><p>Employee discount</p><p>Health insurance</p><p>Paid time off</p><p><b>Schedule:</b></p><p>Day shift</p><p>Holidays</p><p>Night shift</p><p>Weekend availability</p><p><b>Supplemental Pay:</b></p><p>Bonus pay</p><p><b>Education:</b></p><p>Bachelor's (Preferred)</p><p><b>Experience:</b></p><p>Customer service: 1 year (Required)</p><p><b>Work Location:</b></p><p>One location</p><p><b>Work Remotely:</b></p><p>No</p><p><b>Work Location:</b></p><p>One location</p></div>","company":{"name":"Union Twist, Inc."},"location":{"country":"United States","address":"Framingham, MA, USA","city":"Framingham","stateProvince":"MA"},"frontendLink":"/job-posting/union-twist-inc/assistant-manager/f90e9fa3dcd94ba2cda95533f1d0a7e1","title":"Assistant Manager","category":"Retail","hash":"f90e9fa3dcd94ba2cda95533f1d0a7e1","postingUrl":"https://us.bebee.com/job/20211124-d82b9b5553bfe25086a5195e49b31423","salary":"$29k - $37k"}]
