Overview:
Dosecann is currently looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our team in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Reporting to the Manager, Warehouse, you will be responsible for the leadership of 3 Inventory Specialists, collation and creation of reports and KPI’s, to ensure our Sage ERP system inventory records always accurately reflects our physical on-hand inventory and executing the requirement inventory management and cycle counts processes to maintain accuracy.
What can you expect to do:
  • Team leadership – 3 direct reports
  • Manage cycle count process ensuring ABC requirements are met per Auxly and Dosecann Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
  • Execute cyclical plan to complete empty bin counts.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count goals.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in Sage ERP software
  • Investigate and correct inventory variances, identifying root cause and collaborating with Operations to drive corrective action.
  • Monitor and ensure FG inventory is being consumed in a FIFO manner.
  • Monitor and ensure aged Inventory is identified
  • Lead various inventory management functions which includes processing damages, holds, rework, and End of Life
  • Send timely and regular reports to direct supervisor on stock levels, issues etc.
  • Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports using SAGE and MS Excel.
  • Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Quality management (QMS) reporting and SOP review and adherence.
  • Any other related tasks as assigned, and as operationally required.
What we are looking for :
  • 2+ years of related experience in a warehouse environment with specific exposures inventory control and cycle counting.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to manage up to 100 SKUS.
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • WMS or ERP Inventory maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Attention to detail, self-directed and ability to thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment
  • Forklift experience would be an asset
  • Frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials will be required
