JOB SUMMARY

The Dispensary Manager of Sunnyside* Phoenixville, PA is responsible for day-to-day team leadership and delivering a profitable business which supports Cresco Labs’ mission to normalize, professionalize and revolutionize the cannabis industry. You will ensure the dispensary achieves or exceeds all key metrics and goals across all aspects of the dispensary including customer acquisition and loyalty, merchandising, operations, and talent development. This role will serve as the link between the Sunnyside* brand vision of providing access to consistent high-quality cannabis and cannabis knowledge and the operations of the store.

• Experience leading and motivating a team of hourly and salary employees; skills include recruiting, onboarding, training, managing employee relations and coaching.

CORE JOB DUTIES

People Management:

• Build and sustain a high-performing team through employee selection, onboarding, coaching and clear accountability for results.

• Conduct at least monthly 1:1 quality conversations with each assistant manager and quarterly 1:1s with each store employee.

• Assess team performance, skill gaps, and career aspirations of employees; solicit or provide resources, trainings or procedures to support team needs.

• Analyze and determine effective headcount requirements and labor schedules that account for store sales trends, department objectives and labor laws.

• Motivate and inspire dispensary team to exceed revenue targets and KPIs, with an emphasis on selling and cross-selling techniques.

• Partner with Human Resources to resolve employee relations issues.

• Ensure employees are knowledgeable and coached to navigate any regulatory changes.

• Ensure a clean and safe environment for employees and customers

Sales & Operational Excellence:

• Provide regular updates, feedback, and solutions to corporate retail leadership across all areas of dispensary operations.

• Establish and nurture key business partner relationships across Human Resources, Outreach, Compliance, Security, Employees Health & Safety, Marketing, Construction and IT.

• Drive profitable sales through forecasting, scheduling, outstanding customer service and execution of programs and initiatives.

• Identify business and competitor risks; analyze metrics to help increase market share.

• Support outreach efforts/community partnerships to build a positive image within the community, drive brand awareness, and draw new patients.

• Establish daily operations procedures with an eye towards improvement and efficiency.

• Oversee inventory activities ensuring product requirements are met and deliveries are on time.

• Maintain accurate records of all dispensary activities including daily cash reconciliations, guest records, sales, deliveries and returns.

• Perform monthly audit reporting and store visit checklist with Area Manager.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, state, and local laws.

• Serve as point of contact for state regulators and local authorities, overseeing any inspections or audits

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in business or comparable experience

• 5-7 years of retail management experience required; Cannabis knowledge or dispensary leadership experience a plus

• Experience managing teams of 10 or more with layers of leadership, preferably in a high-volume location with a focus on team development.

• Demonstrated ability to learn, apply and teach others technical, product-related information in a professional consultative manner.

• Experience working closely with HR teams and processes.

• A high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency

• Proficient in MS Office, Highly Proficient in MS Excel with experience in data entry and data management

• Strong business acumen including excellent communication, attention to detail and interpersonal skills

We believe in hiring locally, offering competitive compensation packages, and giving our employees an opportunity to learn and grow.</p><p>As a company, we are committed to being active corporate citizens and community members and celebrate diversity and inclusion.</p><p>We are looking for an experienced Retail Regional Manager who can effectively lead their team of Store Managers and ensure strong retail performance, with responsibilities in driving sales, customer satisfaction, and P&amp;L management of C3 Industries retail cannabis stores, High Profile.</p><p>This position will oversee the entire Michigan Retail portfolio, and we are open to candidates based in the Western Region of Michigan.</p><p>In this role you will .</p><p>• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail performance, ensuring efficient and sound operations, maximum profit, and a best-in-class store experience.</p><p>• Establish and ensure key performance indicators (KPI) are being tracked and maintained in all store locations.</p><p>• Anticipate market trends and opportunities by analyzing existing product performance, customer insights, and individual store KPI's.</p><p>• Manage the purchasing and procurement of product mixes per location; set pricing and promotional strategies.</p><p>• Ensure best-in-class customer experience exists by staying connected to customer needs, anticipating changes, and preparing teams to meet consumer challenges.</p><p>• Maintain active presence in the stores and provide support for in store events.</p><p>• Analyze and create weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.</p><p>• Partner with Senior Leadership to develop, execute and evaluate strategies for opening new retail locations.</p><p>• Develop initial store operating budget in coordination with Store Manager and Finance Department.</p><p>• Establish staffing levels for new stores and partner with Human Resources to ensure a proper hiring plan is in place.</p><p>• Ensure successful implementation of POS system in new locations, including employee training.</p><p>• Maintain physical presence throughout store set up and store openings.</p><p>• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to plan product allocation, merchandising plans, promotional signage and social media strategies.</p><p>• Partner with cross functional leaders and Store Managers to monitor store inventory, staffing and other critical operational functions to optimize store performance.</p><p>• Implement Standard Operating Procedures for all retail locations, and ensure they are in full compliance with local, state and federal laws.</p><p><b>Skills and experience you have</b></p><p>• Bachelor's degree and 7- 10+ years of experience managing multiple brick and mortar retail locations.</p><p>• Comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, and new store launches.</p><p>• Establishing and tracking KPI's and metrics.</p><p>• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and POS systems.</p><p>• Ability to drive proven improvements across all areas managed</p><p>• Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build relationships and, operate in a highly fluid industry environment.</p><p>• Passionate about the cannabis industry and thrives in a dynamic, high growth environment.</p><p>• Regular travel to assigned locations is required.</p><p>• Ability to build and lead a best in class retail team.</p><p>• Commitment to quality, performance and deliverables.</p><p>You should apply if</p><p>• You are an experienced District or Regional Manager with a track record of leading successful retail operations and driving sales.</p><p>• You are a strong doer' that rolls up their sleeves to make things happen and are an equally strong big picture' strategist.</p><p>• You have a passion for the cannabis industry and are excited about working in a fast-paced start up.</p><p>• Our mission is to share our love of cannabis with the world.
