Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and managing all aspects of day to day operations, including managing personnel, establishing strong customer relations, inventory control
  • Manage flow of all store related matters while adhering to strict state guidelines and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to implement and maintain policies, and procedures in accordance with company standards
  • Track various sales metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Train and utilize POS system to increase productivity in employee sales and customer throughput
  • Monitor records of all necessary documents: delivery and inventory manifests, nightly and monthly inventory counts, necessary employee, and patient/customer information, inventory adjustments, and destruction reports
  • Drive compliance and support employee training in accordance with all cannabis state-specific rules, regulations and laws
  • Build the brand and provide a thriving environment that is focused on delivering exceptional in-store brand experiences

Skills/qualifications needed for this position:

  • 21+ years of age and older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of management experience in a retail or hospitality background preferred but not required
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced client-service intensive industry hospitality and retail background preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with MI Medical Cannabis Program rules and regulations preferred
  • Familiarity with history and varieties of medical marijuana, Knowledge of Cannabis culture and products and dispensary items preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Written & verbal communication skills
  • General computer knowledge - experience with Microsoft Office, internet, and social media
