The main purpose of this position is to oversee the performance of its inventory control system (ICS) software and to conduct data analysis using statistical software.</p><p><b>PRINCIPLE DUTIES</b></p><p>Duties of this position include: monitoring the medical cannabis inventory control system software performance; creating advanced SQL queries to extract, categorize, monitor, manipulate and organize data; use SAS, R or other statistical software to perform data analysis; direct the gathering, organization, storage, and cleaning of medical cannabis data; identify data quality issues; utilize advanced skills in MS Excel to obtain and/or import data and perform various data analyses; direct the preparation of data included in the department’s monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; assess the needs of data users and recommend necessary improvements to software and reports; create data visualizations; write data reports to assist with auditing of medical cannabis pharmacies and medical providers.</p><p>Pursuant to Utah Code §§ 4-41-107 and 26-61a-111, this job includes duties that arise from or directly relate to the Utah Medical Cannabis Act.
