Veltiste Wellness is an ambitious cannabis start-up led by industry veterans, with multiple licenses in Michigan, Illinois, and Missouri. We are seeking Dry/Cure Technicians to ensure that all cannabis product is consistent and of high quality. This position will work closely with the Dry/Cure Manager to effectively and efficiently dry and cure cannabis flower.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct daily Dry/Cure Team duties, including taking down a dry/cure room, and preparing and maintaining dry/cure rooms.
  • Follow all SOPs for the Dry/Cure process.
  • Responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of all cure rooms and equipment.
  • Observe flower in dry and cure rooms and report contaminated product to the Dry/Cure Manager.
  • Manipulate product in the dry and cure rooms to ensure even moisture loss and consistent, uniform drying.
  • Communicate any abnormalities with the product to the Dry/Cure Manager.
  • Influence decisions by shift supervisors and management about product disposition.
  • Verify tags, strain, license, and batch ID of recent harvests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
  • Ability to lift up and push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

  • Previous cannabis or agricultural experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand basic scientific concepts.
  • METRC knowledge preferred.
  • Degree in Plant Sciences a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments.
